Good to know, I wonder why mine is so far off from what the elliptical tells me, based on the FT4 i am always burning about 150 cal more than what the elliptical says i am.

I like what the polar 4 tells me, it usually estimates i do more than what elliptical says, If that's the case i will gladly go with it! :D

I was noticing that too! but i don't know for you, even with cardio it tells me that i am burning 100+ cal then the elliptical! How odd!

Your weight can fluctuates and i wouldn't worry too much about it. The other thing could be that 1200 is too few cal for you to be consuming, you might be one of those people who simply needs more in order to lose. Your metabolism can slow down. Are you eating multiple meals throughout the day? What about your exercise…

Is your intake changing? Are you eating salty things? What about your exercise? Do you keep it varied so that your body doesn't get used to things? In all technicality if you are doing things right, you should be losing 1-2 lbs a week safely. That of course only comes with proper diet and exercise. I think someone here…

I have to tell you, rare is to see a guy stay humble after the popularity hits. Good for you for wanting to stay down to earth. Surround yourself as you said with people who are on your level intellectually and who know how to laugh at themselves. Those are people worth keeping! :-)

You will do good, keep your self accountable by logging and surround yourself with positive people even if it is only online. I think the accountability is the best motivator, at least for me! Add me if you want :)

I personally have a problem with that, but i did find that having that one cheat day a week helps me a ton during the fitness journey. If i don't reward myself i become a cookie/cake/chocolate/icecream monster and then it is on for calories and me! Seriously though, having that one day where you go out and have a yummy…

I am 5'10 and my highest weight was 162lbs. I hit the 160s and just about had a heart attack. I am 137lbs now, my goal is to hit 135ish :)
