Here is a "keto coach" question.... for you or anyone.. I am using testing strips to test for Ketosis....... one day it is very dark and I am thrilled, the next, it barely shows trace amounts. Is this normal and does this mean that I am not actually in Ketosis?

I too had an indulgent weekend......... this is day 3 of getting back on track..... any idea how long before I hit ketosis again? I am not registering yet...... 3-4 days sound right?? Staying under 25 carbs a day...............

I too am suffering from having a "free weekend" and regretting it! Wondering how long before I am back in ketosis and feeling ok. One thing is, this is a good lesson and one that I need to remember when faced with temptation..... not worth it!! UGH..........I should be back in ketosis in a few days, yes?

Thank you for your input, I am healthy as a horse so to speak....... 5" 10" muscular build. Just very frustrated. I will read that book/article. Thanks for the support and suggestions. I will let go of the scale and focus on how I feel..... You do look great and yes, 4 lbs. made a huge difference.

Calories 1400 Carbohydrates 18 g 5 % Fat 101 g 65 % Protein 105 g 30 % These are my current macros, can anyone tell me if I am where I should be? I am in ketosis but do not seem to be losing...... I "feel" like things are changing inside, but the scale is NOT moving.. ugh.

I can't do that...... just make sure you set yourself up for success. Have options around that are better for you. I love cheese and a juicy burger loaded with cheese hits the spot for me. Instead of chips I keep peanuts in the shell handy. I am a foody too and usually drinking has the same effect on me but I have lost 8…

I do low carb as well and more recently have been allowing myself dannon light and fit yogurt with Kashi go lean cereal in it. Low in calories, decent in carbs... more than I should be having but it is heaven!!!!!!!!!! I am still losing weight and feel like I am allowing a little indulgence.
