I have switched over to dark chocolate since it is healthier than milk chocolate. As well, I find it fills me up faster so a few pieces usually satisfies my craving. ~

Born and raised in Ottawa but moved away to Cobden in Nov. 2008 to be with my guy. It's 1 1/2hrs. west of the city in case you haven't heard of it, between Renfre and Pembroke. Get back a few times a month with doctors' appointments and my parents are there. Janet

Don't know why you would deny it. I have no problem confirming it when people ask if I have lost weight and am fine with explaining how. If someone wants to make suggestions or criticize, I just tell them that I am happy with the path I have taken. End of story.

I think you've answered your own question. If you had to starve yourself to maintain 139, then ovbiously it wasn't a healthy weight for you. A proper weight is one you can maintain while still eating healthy.

I know two brothers who did it. One lost loads of weight and the other not as much but the one who lost loads put alot back on when he went off it. Think it's the type of thing that once you go off and start eating normal again you will definitely gain some back. Not to mention the expense of it.

I weigh in twice a week, Mondays and Fridays, but record my weight on Fridays. This way I can have a small splurge over the weekend but check myself afterwards.

Yes it's similar to splenda but supposedly a healthier sugar substitute. You can also get other sugar free flavour packs for water such as Nestle and diet Kool Aid. Enjoy.

I drink crystal light as I don't like plain water. It doesn't contain any sugar and comes in so many flavours. The mocktail flavours are great. I also drink Ocean Spray diet low calorie beverages and they only have 2g sugar per 8oz. Cran pomegranate is my fave. As for your tea, try adding Stevia instead of sugar.

Tried it when I was backpacking in Australia and found it to be the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted. Vegemite to them is what peanut butter is to Canadians and Americans. You pretty much have to be raised on it from infancy to aquire the taste. Can't hurt to try... never know you might actually like it. Let us know.
