  • @hkmurphy83 Yep decided to wear a kilt for my wedding just to be a bit different, also had the ceremonial dagger tucked into my sock lol
  • I've just completed my first round of insanity, very happy with the results, a couple of days rest for me and then in going to do an Insanity/YAYOG (You Are Your Own Gym) Hybrid.
  • thanks all, in pleased with the results so far, still a long way to get but everyday I learn more and more from MFP to help my achieve my ultimate aim, to be happy with my body and to live a long, healthy and happy life :-D
  • wow amazing transformation, well done!
  • Thanks, this was what I was thinking. Think I'll create a schedule for myself now along the same, of 3 Insanity and 3 YAYOG and see how that goes.
  • I'm only 3 days away from finishing the Insanity program, I struggled at the start of month 2 (it felt like just starting the insanity program) but after the first week I was more confident that I COULD finish this month as well, you will be amazed at what you can do, just go at your own pace, if you really need a break…
  • Bump for my insanity results pics in 4 days time :-)
  • Hi, no pics yet but am on my last week of insanity, I started at 207lbs am now down to 196lbs, I have had no injuries at all fro. This program and I also do it barefoot, it is hard going but you just need to go at your pace and concentrate on getting your form right, before this I had only worked out with EA sports active…
  • Hi I'm 2 weeks away from finishing insanity, I'm still drenched in sweat and tired by the end of every workout, however my fitness has improved dramatically I have also started noticing now that my stomach is shrinking and ive also got stronger. You don't need to keep up with everyone in the video you do it your own pace…
  • Hi I'm on the 3rd week of the 2 nd month of insanity I'm a 205lb male, my fitness wasn't the greatest when I started this. It is defiantly doable though, you don't need to keep up with everyone on the DVD and it doesn't matter if you need a quick break whilst doing the routines. My fitness has dramatically improved while…
  • I'm from the UK feel free to add me too! :-)
  • I'm currently doing Insanity and my HRM shows between 500-600 calories for the workouts and about half of that for the recovery workouts ( I'm 2 weeks away from finishing my 2nd month) when I add in the ab workouts it's around 700-750 cals. My heart rate is normally between 150-165 bpm Male 5'11 35 around 205lbs. 1800 Cals…
  • WoW player here, used to play excessively too, but have now cut down to 2-3 nights a week play a holy paladin mainly. Workout wise I'm 2 weeks away from finishing Insanity and already looking forward to round 2
  • My pre workout is normally a cup of coffee and a banana (work out in the am so this is breakfast) normally then have a bowl of high protein cereal and a protein shake afterwards.
  • At least 2 hard boiled eggs a day and upto 7 egg whites scrambled with mixed peppers, mushrooms and chilli powder and Worcestershire sauce if I remember to buy it lol
  • I take protein shakes mainly for convenience but I also get roughly half of my protein from foods, I take between 200g and 250g a day of protein ( on excercise days around 180-220g on rest day) I think I would really struggle if I tried to get all of that from food.
  • Hi, I live in Cardiff
  • Hi, Congratulations on your 15lb loss, feel free to add me, Im on everyday :-)
  • Cardiff, Wales (uk)
  • Heres another vote for Insanity, about to finish the first week of the 2nd month, i never thought it would happen but I now look forward to doing a workout every day, the 2nd month is a lot tougher, but what i've noticed is the second month seems to have a lot more resistance training in, dont get me wrong your heart rate…
  • Sticking with your original Tattoo idea i would opt to have it in the traditional Japanese style, these look absolutely awesome and I'm sure you would love it, haven't got any pics to link but if you do a quick Google you will see the type of style i mean.
  • Male 5'11, 203lbs. I regularly have between 180g (rest day) and 265g of protein (HIIT Day) half way through my HIIT program I went and had a check up with my doctors to make sure I was doing everything correctly. Blood Preassure 124/62, Cholesterol 4.9, resting pulse 61. I also asked if my protein intake was too high and…
  • I use Matrix Anabolic Strawberry it's £44 for a 5kg tub, 40g of protein, 178cals and 6g of carbs. It does taste sweet though. Normaly just mixed with water but I have made it with Semi Skim milk and it's like drinking a milkshake.
  • I weigh all of my food on digital scales so Icahn keep it as accurate as possible, when eating out I try to estimate as best as I can, I normally have around 100-200 cals left over most days as I struggle to eat all of my cals (around 2200-2300 on excercise days)
  • I know if I don't work out for 2+ days i get an all over ache (especially hips and knees), I assume it's where my body has got used to the excercise and the endorphins that come with it. If your worried perhaps have a chat with your doc to see if they can find a cause.
  • I'm just starting the second month, I've lost 6lbs so far and my legs and arms are looking more toned, I'm also feeling a lot healthier and stronger and have massive amounts of energy. It's hard but after about two weeks you'll learn to love it. I'm not following the eating plan either but am watching my calories and…
  • I had a slightly different problem to everyone else above as I had the soles of my feet tattooed (wouldn't recommend it they don't last long until they start fading and stretching out) , I refrained from doing my insanity workout for 2 weeks as by then they had healed. As everyone else has said, you are better off wearing…
