I love smoothies! But I don 't ever use them exclusively. They are listed as a category on my food diary. Lunch, dinner, smoothies , snacks. The only reason I don't list breakfast is because of my schedule, not because I don't believe in breakfast. lol You are welcome to look at my diary for my smoothies, but be warned…

I bought a Nutribullet and really like it. You can throw in some leafy greens with your fruit and don't really taste it.

I have a 90 lb goal, feel free to add me! :)

Can I ask what kinds of workouts burn enough calories to do it? I am 178 lbs and I have a hard time burning over 300 calories on the treadmill in a workout.

I think it's VERY possible. When I am gluten free and watch my sugar intake my PMS is WAY less severe!

I've stopped calling it my cheat day. Every couple of weeks or so I have a no counting calories day. I have found that my "splurges" are getting smaller because I am changing the way I eat all the other days. For me it's a mental break more then anything, I go right back on the next day and it keeps me from going stir…

40 sticks since joining mfp, 200 since I first started losing weigh!! :)

Thanks! I hadn't thought of most of those suggestions, we don't have a health food store, but I will look on line for sure! :)

I'm 5' 3 and have PCOS. Weight loss is possible, I lost 65 lbs 2 yrs ago. I slipped back into some old habits and gained some back, but now I'm back on track. It can be done, but just like anyone with weight issues it takes a life style change. :) Good luck and feel free to add me. My diaries will show I don't eat…

Watermelon, melons in general. yucky!

Cinnamon is recommended for those of us who are insulin resistant to help, but we still have to eat healthy and exercise. It's legit, it's just not a "miracle spice" on it's own.

I have almost lost a cat! :)

Sorry, I'm going to start the 30 day shred this weekend.

I'm 5'3 and when I get down to 137 I will have lost a total of 100 lbs! I'm currently at 188 and my goal is actually 135. :)

Why in the world would you have a 1500 calorie deficit for one day? That can't be healthy at all.
-
I don't ever cheat, because I'm not on a diet. :)

Oatmeal and more oatmeal! :)

A couple of yrs ago I lost a lot of weight and the whole time, I had a mocha moo-latte from Dairy Queen every Friday. (I think they are around 800 calories but don't quote me) Seriously thinking about starting that tradition up again! Just wanted to add that I ate healthy most of the rest of the week, I was doing…

I don't want to be a "know it all" but have you had your blood sugar levels checked lately? I "sleep eat" when my blood sugar is off-I have a form of type 2 diabetes.

I usually workout in the evenings, and then I get to eat back my exercise calories. If it's one of my non workout days then I just save some calories for a snack. The longer I do this and eat well during the day, the less of an issue it has become.

^^ that's awesome!

I disagree with this completely. Sorry-editing, I meant I disagree that you can't eat back your exercise calories. You will still have a significant deficit even when you eat back your calories. I eat mine back when I am hungry and have still lost weight.

I am so trying this!!! Thanks!

What if you worked one brownie bite into your calories for tomorrow, thanked him and sent the rest to work with him. Yes, I agree a talk might be in order, but you have to remember that there are no "bad" foods. If he continues and it really is hindering your weight loss, then just flush whatever he brings home or throw it…

I send requests knowing it's their choice. I don't take it personally AT ALL! :) Sometimes I forget I sent a request until I see them in my newsfeed. :)

Heading out now, but keep the foods coming! :drinker:

I agree that "real" food is best. I'm thinking of switching over to full fat yogurt for my smoothies and just using less of it-I think it would keep me satisfied longer. My sister has lost a ton of weight without using any low fat foods.

My "cheat" meal is just me eating up the extra calories from the other days during the week. It keeps me sane and I think it helps with the weight loss!! (for me it's just usually about an extra 500-600 calories for that meal-so not a binge) So I truly eat back all of my exercise pts!! Today it means I get potato oles with…

I love blending frozen blueberries and Greek yogurt, but this sounds REALLY amazing!

Same here-losing and eating back the majority of my wo calories. Some of it depends on if this is a diet or a new way of life. Personally, I like to enjoy my food. I lost 65 lbs really fast a few yrs ago and gained a bunch back because it was just a diet. I'm making permanent changes this time.
