Oh my word!!!! That is an amazing transformation, Congratulations on changing your life & wish you all the happiness that dedication deserves!

Welllll.... I've kind of come to a plan which funnily enough incorporates a lot of your suggestions! I've researched my calorie allowance again and upped it by 300 (eek) as my coach has always said its not about calorie counting but the quality of the food. From the 6th I'm banishing festive food from the house and…

Already a "buddy" but just wanted to say you're a great buddy!

Thanks, should have mentioned that I do Paleo (mostly)
-
FOOD PORN!!!!!

Trek flapjacks, relatively healthy way to get in cals and easy to stuff in your gob when short on time? I think the idea of bigger portions of healthy things sounds very sensible, could you add 1/3 of the protein to your meals and dish up to him? an extra chicken breast etc?

Poor soul

This ^^^ is pretty much my list, esp Daniel in Stargate, & David Tennant :( Most of Grey's ... like a BABY! In her shoes when the poem is read at the wedding " I carry your heart" Marley & Me (if you haven't seen it, and you're a dog owner / lover - DON'T do it!) The west wing when Josh was shot :(

I agree with this, I think the principle is great but combined with common sense? Paleo without cal counting lasted about 2 weeks for me, I got over the "illness" of converting and realised I was too nervous and does counting cals actually harm anyone!?
-
Heh I just received the same message again. *takes on the ignore the poor deluded soul* approach!

Bump as my OH has this issue TBH I seem to be developing it with my skinny jeans too
-
I did six months at -20% and maintained, coach said I wasn't eating right (not enough, not right food, too often) then switched to -15% but cleaner with a keener focus on Paleo and finally started losing again, losing 15lbs since April first after no real loss in the prior year ( I'm on a long journey it would seem!)

I'm about 50 pages in and rather intrigued :)
-
Fab depth :)

Great :) Anyone else with comments? Cx

Lmao super baby army!!!

I do this or would recommend the HRM option, circuits are constant so would be okay for the time of your WOD but the rest of your session probably isn't that intense so maybe Logan's strength or stretching :)
-
Hi When you say that you are eating at a deficit by how much and are you eating back exercise cals? Reason being that you could be eating two few calories which results in the body holding on to fuel in reserves. This can be frequently experienced when doing intense workouts with a low daily calorie intake. Ceff x

I was special enough to get one this morning, my response "Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with crossfit. I assume that's the case and you have some real substance to your concerns rather than approaching someone who has been practising the discipline for a year with no issues, in fact having it resolve health…

If anything I feel better at the Crossfit box than at a gym, because I'm actually doing what is needed to get to my goal and being pushed by the nature of it. We have a mix of people at ours, some overweight, some tiny, some muscley some "average". Go give a free session a go if its available, they will scale it for you so…

I got them!!!! :D
-
BOOM! Got 20" box jumps for the first time and used them in a WOD for a full 50 reps! Booooo Yah!!!
-
I was coached by starting in a plank, walking feet just a foot up the wall, then moving until at 90 degrees, I've got more progress now but still not "nose to wall" yet.
-
ETAM: I overlooked OP's comment about things other than box jumps...and can relate to the handstands especially. I still get butterflies when I kick up onto the wall...or even just tripod without the wall. Not sure what my fear is...if I overshoot, I just bump the wall...or if in the open, I just land on my heels.…
No one is pressuring me. Most days there are 3 levels of WOD, level 3 always has a low box jump. Plus my instructor constant reminds us to scale accordingly. *I* am the one who wants to progress. I am also quite capable of jumping higher, it is a mental block thing, which I think the suggestion above specifically…
