I had a GREAT week last week, Increased by "Crossfit Total" by whopping 85KG since November, got my first DU (proving hard to replicate but will keep trying) and got a bit of progress on my walk walk, so aiming to get "nose to wall" by the end of the summer :) Then box jumps....

I like this idea and the one about the two people. I guess practice is the key, its just with some things I feel that no matter how much I could ever practice I wouldn't get it. Thanks for your help guys

Can I ask what this reference is all about? I think its a US thing doesn't translate to UK? I know of cool aid, but what's drinking it got to do with Crossfit?

Could you look at something kind of linked to what you do? so if its fire dept, do a qual in health and safety like NEBOSH (if they have that in Ireland?) might open up more opportunities if its linked to your experience rather than seeming like a complete direction change?

That's an AMAZING loss! I agree, MFP has been fab for helping me lose the 46lbs I've lost so far... just the next 40 or so that I'm struggling with! Well done on your progress :D

How about starting up Avon or Betterware / Kleeneze etc between yourself & partner (so as to work around shifts)? Limit presents etc to a small amount, making something for a friend of family member can be much cheaper and more meaningful. Do you use a letting agency for your OH's house? if not, might be worth contacting…

I agree to both sides here, I think you should be able to do what you want bt i also think that maybe you need to take 5 minutes to think about your OH's thoughts and feelings. Haha! I got home from college last night and she was fast asleep on the floor from the OH doing a 4 mile run with her, then I said I felt like I needed to work off the StarBar I had on the break at college and we did a 2 mile walk... she wasn't impressed at first but soon got into it :laugh:
