Pfffffffff ....... A mean to get attention and to be applauded (?). We all have issues, sicknesses, worries etc. If one wants to work out, he will, of course there is no need to do so to lose / maintain one's weight. Some put one 50 pounds after the loss of a loved one, would you tell them that's an excuse not to work out…

Happy for you ! Congrats !

As above posters have said : you are simply undereating most of the week. I am 5'3, female, 10 pounds lighter than you and am losing on 1800 kcals. You need professional help. You are clearly underweight and seem to have an eating disorder
-
Wow, what a change !! Congratulations !
-
Happy for you !! Keep it up !! You deserve it !!
-
I go with a MONTHLY average goal, mainly because i weigh in once a month. It works good for me. I have been maintaining my weight for a bit more than 2 years in a 5 pound range
-
5'3, 125lbs and maintaining on 2380 average gross calories
-
Wowa wow, congratulations !!! And ... You now look so much younger !!
-
Wait a minute ... Your body needs energy-and burns calories- even when you are asleep/not doing anything. If your Jawbone is right, and that your are burning 1500 kcals, that means you should eat 1200 PLUS those (or let's say half at least) burned calories ....

I can understand it is hard for a man to maintain on only 1900 ... Even for a lady actually. Don't you fancy working out a bit to increase that amount of calories ? I'm two years into maintenance myself too. No weight gain the first year. Then stress at work, etc, and while i kept working out (cardio + strength training),…
-
It does not happen to me ;) I actually maintain on 2400ish gross calories, and i have no calorie left to eat at the end of the day. But i understand you : during my first year of maintenance i was really careful and afraid of putting weight back on. You'll get used to eating more
-
Amazing transformation so far !!! You must be so proud of yourself !! Keep it up, get your life back !!!
-
Congrats so far ! You can do it !
-
Are you REALLY trying to gain weight eating ONLY 2000 calories and working out 5 hours a week ?
-
I don't weigh myself anymore at that time, but i know i would see a scale gain of 2kgs. It goes away one week after the begining of my periods (this following week i see the lowest weight of the month on the scale).

I'm surprised that a little increase in calories (200 at a time) makes you bloat, at least enough for you to be annoyed by it... Do you drink enough water, eat enough fiber and fats to keep everything moving ? Your strength will increase gradually over months, it's not only a matter of food intake of course but of muscular…

Great work ladies :)

It has been shown, at least in mice, that an ISOCALORIC high carb or high fat diet increases fat gain (compared to ''normal'' diet), causes obesity (characterised by a low to mild state of chronic inflammation) and is correlated with insulin resistance among others. Yep a '' a calorie is a calorie'', no matter if it comes…

Hey ! We share a lot of similarities ! Pretty much the same age, height, weight, weightloss achieved (although i did not have a child). I started maintaining back in September 2013, was doing a lot of cardio, and only weight machines, then i turned to circuit training and i finally started heavy lifting (free weights) back…
-
Congrats ! It shows particularly in your face and tummy !
-
Beautiful, and you look so much younger ! Congratulations :)
-
Eat more ? Seriously, how much do you currently eat ? I suggest you log all your food for a few days to have an idea and add calorie dense foods on top
-
A big part of it might just be water weight due to the new workout i think, unless you ate an extra 3x3500 cals (3 pounds of fat). If it's this, your body will adapt to the new workout. Maybe consider switching to TDEE method (much simpler, at least for me)
-
I disagree with the above poster : OP's maintenance is surely much higher. 5'4, 125-129 lbs, 27 years old, maintain on 2400 kcals on average
-
Great job ! May i ask you : what's your height ? Congrats again and sorry for what's have been going on for you
-
Unless you have gastroparesis or something like that, i see no reason why one should feel uncomfortably full eating so little. Or else it's all in the head ...
-
Keep trying ! I put on one pound a month eating 2700 cals
-
Female, 27, 126 lbs, 5'3, maintaining on 2300ish calories gross on average
-
I've put your stats on a calorie calculator website (although the best is just to track during a few weekks / months : if your weight is overall stable, nothing to feel insane about), and yeah your calorie requirements seem correct
