The Whole30 program is sort of like a restart for your body. At the end, you can slowly reintroduce foods and see what ones affect you negatively. The book is a great read, I highly recommend it.

I opt to have smaller portions of some things I really want. Or less of the added extras. Or just have a bite off of a friend or family member's treat! For burgers, I would use some of the special thin buns you can buy at stores now. Not as many carbs and calories! Also, you can buy turkey burgers!
