  • Our Washington is much bigger after all! :D
  • I've never been to DC, but that is what we call ourselves over here! We can all be Washingtonians I suppose. I don't know what else we could be called.
  • I'm in Lacey, but spend a lot of time in Tacoma!
  • Hey Dani, It's amazing what you are doing; it will be tough but you can and will do it! I am big time into junk and processed foods. I've been slowly changing my old favorites for new ones. There is an awesome app/website called Fooducate. You can put in ANY food and they show you a healthier alternative. And like…
  • Tequila and grapefruit juice with a lime. A little higher calories, but not nearly as much as a margarita! Vodka and any type of diet soda.
  • I didn't even notice the notes area! I was frustrated because I couldn't write on there what it was! Thank you. :D
  • Ditto as well! I'm adding you both. :D
  • Ha ha! I was going to add you anyway, but this just sealed the deal.
  • I totally fell off the band wagon! I got upset with myself about screwing up my calories and didn't even look at MFP all weekend! But I'm back and seeing how you all are doing is encouraging me to rock it!
  • I thought that L1D2 was easier to do, but I was sweating SO much more. Worth it! Feeling the burn in my thighs today. Looking forward to tonight!

  • LOL @ smacking her! Especially when she talked about how good the burn in your stomach is during bicycle crunches. I like listening to "Bulletproof" by La Reoux (or however) when I work out. Also Britney Spears, pretty much anything by her makes me feel sexy. Lol.

  • Forget to add the group! Starts out at 50 squats a day and goes up to 250! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/13446-the-30-day-squat-challenge
  • Hey there! My name is Rachael. I'm 5'2" and currently weight 170. I'm shooting for weighing around 125, but it all depends on how healthy I am at that weight. Maybe 130 is good for me with all the working out I'm trying to do, who knows!? It is crazy how much every little pound really changes how us short girls look,…
  • You look SO good! *wolf whistle*
  • You look great! I just started the 30 Day Shred today, you'll be one of my inspirations!!
  • Just finished Level 1 Day 1 about an hour ago... I'm so afraid of how my legs will feel tomorrow! Lunges killed me! Just have to remember that one month from now, I'll be looking good and today's workout would be a joke!

  • Good to know! I was worried about having all the energy in one session. But maybe I will get enough stamina to do it by then. Looking forward to the 13th!
  • I have never done a challenge before! SO excited. When the squats become high, do you do reps?
  • I can't imagine how hard that is to go through. You must be a strong person, which makes me think that you can do this! I'll cheer for you to the whole way. :flowerforyou:
  • Hey Emily, First, congraulations on getting engaged, that is beautiful! My name is Rachael, I'm 26 years old and I am looking to lose 50 pounds to be at 125 (I'm only 5'2", but I'm naturally curvy!). I'm not doing a paleo diet, I LOVE meat just too much, but I would love to encourage each other! I've only been on MFP for a…
  • Not so much belitting me, but belitting the people who said they did the detox and liked it and the way things are said about doing a detox. Some messages sent to me too. But I'm over it! I'm here to make me better, support the people who need it and find good people to help support me too. Good luck to everybody.
  • I asked about people's results on them. If people don't like them, I have NO problem with somebody saying why they wouldn't do a cleanse. Is it necessary to belittle people on here who choose to do a cleanse or detox while saying why you don't believe they will work? Again, I have no problems with opinions, just shocked…
  • For me personally, I can't just start eating right, or else I would have three years ago when I got fat. Doing a few days of something like a cleanse, completing it and saying "Ok, I did that like nothing. Why can't I force myself to eat better on the regular?" It's not a harmful detox. It's full of fresh fruit and veggies…
  • Wow, incredibly discouraged by the amount of negativity on here. Who would have known that something as simple as wanting a jumpstart to eating right would be such an awful thing. Tsk tsk.
  • And I give up.
  • Yes, but I think we can do it without making people feel like an idiot.
  • You got this, we are all here to help you however we can!
  • That is SO great! And you look amazing. I want those shoes. Congratulations! You are an inspiration for me, starting out as a size 12 too!
  • I think that the detox is a personal choice, and let's just all support each other on what is right for that person and their body. Isn't that why we are here??? :flowerforyou:
