What is Quinine? Where do you buy it?

Alright, Normally work day is a desk job so I sit for periods of time. I normally work out 3 times a week on average, I shoot for 5. Mondays are normally chest day. I do a warm up jog before I start any lifting day: chest press, 4 sets at increasing weights (I lift with a progressive weight for all exercises), pushups,…

I am sorry you went through that... Thank you, I really appreciate the advice!

I have honestly talked to my doctor but the response I received was that "my body wasn't made for running and to try different exercises." He didn't seem to get that its always like this even if I take time off. I have thought about switching doctors but I wasn't sure if this was common or if anyone else had ideas before I…

Thanks @moyer566, DOMs is always worse! @ninerbuff Mainly my legs but I get horrible tightness & sore in my traps which always seem to make my neck hurt.. Otherwise it seems to be just my legs. I quit doing shoulders about 6 month ago.
-
Did legs Wednesday and I am so sore today :D I have started embracing the soreness as a battle of how hard I am pushing my lazy, weak muscles! If you are getting sore.. GREAT JOB!
-
You should be so proud! I think you HAVE to have goals!
-
I do this too. Way too many times to count. I do really well, lose some weight, and binge until I have gained it back. I have started working towards my "goal jeans" and its really helped. When I first did this I took a pair of my old jeans that I really wanted to get back into and hung them on the closet door. Every…

Add me please :)

I added you

^^ Everything she said!

I did a Whole 30 & it helped with my endometriosis so much that I have decided to stick with it. It's not a gimmick, it's only whole foods for 30 days (meats, veggies & fruit mainly). Theres a book called "It Starts With Food" that is amazing that goes into more specifics. My sister has PCOS and had great success cutting…

My FAVORITE pancakes: 1 banana 2 eggs 1/4 cup almond flour blueberries Dash of vanilla or almond extract YUM! The blueberries get all juicy and mushy so you don't even need syrup!

^^ What he said. I would suggest using a heart rate monitor. I over calculated calories burned for a long time and that was a huge problem for me. I estimate about 10 calories a minute when I am running hard. So if the class is constant fast movements then I would say 450 would be the max (it also depends on your body).…

My biggest struggle is my sweet tooth!! I read the book "It Starts With Food", it's really a book that goes over the "whys" of cravings etc. I HIGHLY recommending the read and going at it for 30 days. I finished my first WHole 30 on the 5th and yes, I did eat some things right away that I thought I really wanted but…

Too funny! I use them because my husband LOVES the strawberry flavored one and I started using his when we got together ;) I think the strawberry flavored one with almond milk tastes funky but great with 2% lol. I love that theres not loads of sugar or artificial flavorings in it.

I would like to say that I lift and do a protein shake on the day my protein counts are low. I simply do a scoop of Whey Protein (there is one sold through Optimum Nutrition on bodybuilding.com, Cappuccino Flavored, that has hardly any carbs or sugar) that I mix with a cup of unsweetened almond milk and just shake the heck…

According to my HRM I only burned 10/minutes running or working out to my max.
-
I would highly suggest buying a heart rate monitor.. I honestly didn't find any accurate calories on any website but the HRM will give you as close as possible calories burned.
-
I added you also!

I am going to try this!

Green Grapes, frozen in baggies that have weighed out. Perfect for an evening sweet tooth snack. Have you read the book "It Starts With Food?" .. If not, I really really recommend it!

I had a Ninja as well and loved it. If you make a lot of smoothies then yes, totally worth it. Every "serving" of a fruit or veggie that goes into the smoothie would go towards your 5 a day. Make sure to enter every ingredient into MFP tho, smoothies can become very high in calories very quickly. Consider putting some…

I am in the same boat and I wanted to share with you what I have found. I lost 25 pounds last year and gained back almost all of it. Since May I have done cardio at least 2 times a week and weights 2 times a week. I follow my eating program the best that I can, meaning 90% of the time in the last 4 months, I do great. I…

I just started doing Shakeology today! I am not doing the 21 day fix but I am subbing out my lunch for a shake :) Any tips and advice are welcome!
-
Get a Heart rate monitor for your work outs. MFP calculations and the numbers on the machines never match up to what my HRM says I burned.

I agree with the above comments! I have suffered with binge eating for years and have still been working on getting it under control. Good luck on your journey!
