Omg, seriously?! So, like, what's with my pouch? I haven't even had a kid, and I drink like, EIGHT coffees a day!

Me! I'm 5'9", and I currently weigh 136 lbs. I've been down as low as 131-132, and that's a pretty good weight for me. Any lower than that and I look a little TOO thin....I'm essentially trying to get back to 132, and then maintain and tone up....

I actually work in Wallaceburg! I teach at D.A. Gordon Elementary school...

Chatham, ON, here! Just for some perspective, it's almost exactly halfway between London, and Windsor (an hour from each). P.S. I'm always open to new friends, so long as they track food and log in regularly!

Tdaddy you have awesome cut lines!

LOL! OMG, This is fantastic!!!

Specialty running stores sell two things to help with this problem (which is TOTALLY common): A) Body Glide (looks like a deodorant stick, and prevents chafing from clothes rubbing on your nipples), and b) Nip Guards (which are like Band-Aids, essentially). Both are pretty cheap, so I'd recommend checking those out!

I just got this (my first and only) during the Christmas holidays, after I completed my first full marathon.

That's a really good question, and I've noticed the same thing. Really, the only way to combat the inaccuracy is to measure it by weight, instead of volume. If it says " X number of calories for 1/4 cup (30 grams)", then measure out 30 grams, and that will be the accurate number of calories. It's so frustrating, though!

That is un-freakin'-believable (in the best possible way!). What an enormous inspiration! You are AMAZING!
-
lol Awesome! You look just like my friend Amanda, who is a French teacher, so that's where I got the idea from!

I actually work out six...I'm a runner, so running comprises most of my training regimen... Mondays - Body Attack (an intense 60 minute cardio and strength class) at the gym. Tuesdays - Easy Run OR Tempo Run (if Wednesday is a hill workout) Wednesdays - Speed or Hill work (alternating weeks) Thursdays - Body Attack (45…

My husband is PHENOMENAL. He's ridiculously supportive of all that I do....And he's always thought that I'm beautiful, even when I was 30 lbs. heavier (which I was when we first met). He encourages me to push beyond my comfort zone, he works his *kitten* off at work (working crazy long hours, and yet still making time for…

I personally think that's good advice! He's trying to be supportive, without telling you what you should be doing to "fix" your "problem"....And he's right! I think sometimes we just obsess too much, and unfortunately, it tends to hold us back. It sounds to me like he wasn't being insensitive, just supportive....

You look FANTASTIC! You should be incredibly proud of all the work that you've put in, and the dedication that you've shown! Happy Birthday!

I'd have to say Peanut Butter Chocolate....Although, that might clas with my favourite food (pizza).... This is a rather nauseating topic, come to think of it. But it's a great question! lol

LOL I LOVE this!!!

Damn...Lazy was the FIRST word that I zeroed in on! :( lol After that it was: Happy, Patient, and Elegant...

Unfortunately for me, it is....It is the absolute LAST place that I lose weight. :( And the FIRST place that I put it on! Booo!

I personally will never understand the person who says that they're having difficulty reaching 1200 calories per day....Let's be honest. None of us became overweight because we had difficulty eating 1200 calories per day. We were eating well OVER that amount, which is what caused us to be overweight in the first…

What an incredible transformation! Way to go! You look FANTASTIC!!!

I've been logging faithfully for over a year (yep, Every.Single.Day.). Feel free to add me!

I have the Polar FT4, and it's FANTASTIC!

I have one! I chronicled my training up to my first full marathon (on Dec. 4th), and I'm continuing the blog with all of the training that I've done since, and leading up to my second (and third!) full marathons.... http://diaryofanamateurrunner.tumblr.com I'd LOVE for people to check it out! I try to keep it light and…

From what it seems like, I'd say you're going to have to be patient. It's reasonable to expect about a 1 lb. loss every week or so....Since your statistics show that you're not morbidly obese, I doubt that you'll be able to drop 2 or more pounds per week. 1 lb. is just about right, I'd say....Just be patient, and keep up…
