I did both the Warrior Dash and the Tough Mudder this summer....Warrior Dash was in Barrie, ON, on July 21st, and the Tough Mudder was in Orillia, ON, on August 18th. The Tough Mudder was FAR more challenging, and WAY more rewarding than the Warrior Dash (in my opinion!). They are both fantastic runs; however, and I HIGHLY…

Definitely your cheekbones! Those are stellar!

Hey there! I'm 5'9" (so slightly taller) and when I started on MFP, I was 143 lbs. I got down last year to 135 (while training for a marathon), BUT, since then I've started going to boot camp three times a week (in addition to my marathon training), and now I'm back up to 140...Here's another BUT....BUT, even though I'm…

Does it actually taste like chocolate, or does it taste like chocolate-flavoured chalk (which I find many of them do!)?

If we're basing our appraisal solely on looks, unfortunately, I'd have to say Brady (although I can't stand the guy!)... Ben is somewhat of an eyesore, but he's talented! lol

Thanks! :) Me too! It turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it....I was completely anti-tattoo (for MY body, I love them on other people!), until I accomplished the marathon (something I never thought that I'd be able to do), and decided that I wanted my accomplishment permanently commemorated! :)

My grandmother last summer: "Well, you've got those big legs, but you'll always have them". My grandmother last week: "You're STILL eating? You're going to get fat!" (she might as well have added the "again", since I knew that's what she was implying!)

Bumping, because I have the same issue....weight just WILL NOT drop off, yet last year it did, and I work out more (and yes, I eat back exercise calories) than I ever have!

I have it tattooed on my ankle, actually! (26.2)

I'm 5'9"; 136 lbs.; and I wear a size 6 or 8, depending on the fit.

Me three! I was thinking I was the only one who couldn't see it, and received the "This is a password protected video" message!

I blog all about my running, and training! http://diaryofanamateurrunner.tumblr.com

I often will grab a Quaker Chewy granola bar, and eat that before I run. It provides carbs, but it isn't heavy, or very filling. It seems to be just enough to satisfy prior to going out and running! Then I have a "real" breakfast when I get back home.

Speed or track workouts are the best thing for increasing your mile times... Yasso 800s have worked VERY well for me in the past........ Basically, these consist of running 800m intervals at a speed that has you breathing quite heavily and unable to carry on a conversation (or even spit out a complete sentence), and then…

I must have serious issues...there are some things that I just do NOT want to know about my little sister (IRL), and yet I still clicked to open this thread out of some sort of morbid curiosity...lol
