I blocked yet another urge to binge eat my frustrations away. Put away the Christmas candy I was going to buy at the store. (Lollipops made of pop rocks, my fave!)

Count me in. I did 25 minutes so far, but the day is not over yet
-
I am going to do this.

My small victory: I felt like crud today and for the first time ever, I did not binge. I said "HECK NO" to eating my feelings. and also my thunder thighs keep shrinking! I can fit into jeans that never fit comfortably around my legs. -All this and I have not had the chance to exercise every day, but I have been very strict…

I walk or jog for at least an hour daily. After a few weeks I have noticed that I am getting my butt back.

You are doing great!

I lost a chihuahua..which makes me laugh because my mom has one and it is batcrap crazy.

I have lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks (that's 2 pounds a week1). Preety proud of myself because I have just been exercising every day for at least 30 minutes and counting calories (I only eat 1200). I have been taking a free course on coursera.org about nutrition and physical activity and it has really taught me a lot about…

the last time I ate fast food I got very very sick. I don't eat it anymore, and if I go out with friends I can usually find a salad that fits my dietary needs.

I also suffer from depression brought on by childhood trauma. As some have said, I turn to my faith for help. But fitness has also been a HUGE help in decreasing my panic attacks and my overall mood. There is a popular quote that says "exercise is the most potent and underused antidepressant", and I have found this to be…

I have been there and done that. And you can get through this. Don't give up!

"doing that won't help you lose weight, you are wasting your time" said by my sister and her husband as I was jumping rope for cardio when I still lived at home. Then they proceeded to laugh at me. This is the brother in law who convinced everyone around me that I was anorexic because I happened to have the stomach flu one…

My heaviest was 220, the day before my son was born. I gained 100 pounds during the pregnancy. My lightest was 123, in high school. My BMI calculator says I can get back to that and still be healthy for my height. I want to get back to that very badly.

ok for some reason I ate a handful of colbyjack cheese and I perked right up.
-
That makes sense but I do drink coffee daily. I had two cups today.
-
french fries. Instead of getting my son a happy meal (I always eat half of it cause he won't finish it), we came straight home and ate a good lunch.

Thanks for posting! I do this a lot, especially when I am under a lot of stress. Like right now. I am trying very hard to rein it in.

I just started this challenge! Thanks for the inspiration!

Your story has inspired me more than anything else has! I am gonna embrace my stretch marks from now on!

Thanks everyone! I am glad to know I am not the only one going through this. My family is on a fixed income right now (like everyone else in this economy) but I am still able to easily get veggies and fruit thanks to the food bank at church and a couple other resources available to me. I have finally started eating healthy…

Thanks! That would be great. I would love a fitness buddy!
