burned 330 calories on cardio recovery yesterday, best i have done on that one so far, i was pushing and jumping around during rests to keep my heart up

heart rate 162, almost maxed out. checked it 4 times during work out, 140, 156, 160, 162 and after the stretching still at 130 lol

my heart rate is usually about 150 in insanity, my max is 167. 390 is that even possible? That would be so crazy

I'm on day 24, almost to Recovery week. I love Insanity and look forward to it everyday.

I think you'll want more food when you start to get the hang of the workouts and really push. make sure to eat a lot of protein after your workout. Good luck, Insanity is a great plan and its fun. oh wait now i get it, my bmr according to MFP is 3100 so that is why the site wants me to net 2100 calories a day, to lose 2 lb a week. so yes i should be eating back my exercise calories. sorry im a little slow to this. Thanks

wow cool topic "in place of a roadmap" OK my current BMR is 2338 calories. so based on my goal weight and actively level it says to eat 3200 calories a day. its odd because MFP is telling me to eat 1900-2100 depending on actively level i choose. I guess ill just try like 2400 a day for a week or two which is 76% of 3200…

i have a polar also, a bit older model, but i got a good deal on ebay,. my highest heart rate in Insanity have been 163 which i got yesterday haha. i think i average about 140-145

Cardio Recovery is good for balance and core strength, but doesn't do much for burning calories. my heart rate was like 108 most of the work out, which is still in a good zone for burning fat but not on the high end at all.

Cardio Abs is a tough one, even if its only 16 minutes. by the third C-sit exercise my abs are dead
