The best way for me to lose inches is definitely cardio whether it be walking or running/jogging.

I just graduated for the C25K program last week!! Keep up with it, follow what the app says, and you'll hae no problem at succeeding! The toughest part for me was week 5 or 6 where they have you run for 20 minutes without stopping. I was really nervous and thought that there was no possible way that I could do it...but I…

I'm 5'4" but I allow myself about 1,500 calories a day. My BMR is 1,780 so I'm still creating a good deficit that way. I always eat back my exercise calories because I get too hungry if I don't. But even with eating them back, I usually wind up eating around 1,300 for my net total. I started about 1 month and a few days…

I say it all the time but if I write it or text it, it's "hun" not "hon." "Hon" just looks stupid.

Welcome and good luck to you!

I haven't paid attention/I don't know the names of my friends. So, I'd have to scroll through the whole list and pick one. And ain't nobody got time fo' that.

-Run more often...don't let yourself go a few days in between -Every month, up your distance even if it's by .08 of a mile -Slow your pace down. -For me, the first mile is the HARDEST. Push through it or if you have to walk, briskly walk and chalk that mile up to a warm up. You'll be amazed at how much further you can go…

There are a few different kinds of Fage Greek Non-Fat yogurt. The ones to steer clear of are th ones with fruit on the bottom. Those alone have about 17g of sugar. A real healthy treat, and one of my faorite post-workout snacks, is plain Fage Greek with a little bit of honey and some real fruit added in (berries, half a…

I think "cheat meals" are better than an entire day. With the summer coming, we already have tons of family cookouts and barbeques to attend. I fully plan on having fun and eating a slice of cake and a burger...but breakfast before I go will be healthy. Know what I mean? If you have a weekly deficit of 3,500 calories,…

Great! Thanks guys!

I struggle with this too so I'll be stalking the thread to see the responses! I allow myself 1500 cals per day...but go for a run every night that burns 350 or so calories. So, do I eat those back?

Hi there! I'm a stay-at-home-mom as well, but to an 8 month old girl.

Wow! Great loss so far! I started MFP 3 1/2 weeks ago and lost 8 pounds so far! Feels great, doesn't it?

Good luck and welcome!!

Weightloss and to just be healthier overall. I want it to be easy for me to just automatically make healthy choices without even really needing to think about it.

Make flourless banana pancakes with one egg and 2 mashed up bananas. Cook them on a griddle or frying pan and they taste great!

I don't wear lipstick. That's funny though because red cars are statistically shown to make people drive faster. Something about red is sexy!

If you work hard and push yourself, you'll lose the last 15 pounds. But everyone has their own version of their "skinny" self. My "happy" weight is about 140. At that weight I look thing, healthy, happy, etc. My does thrives at this weight and it takes a lot to gain it back once I DO get to that weight. If you want to lost…

Like others have said, it really depends on your build. At my thinnest, I was about 140 pounds at 5'4" and, for some reason, people thought I had "taken the weight loss thing a little far." My body holds onto weight really well...I can weigh 180 pounds and look like I weigh 140. But, do you feel strong? Do you have…

Isn't it great to feel and see results like that?? I've only lost about 8 so far and the other day I went to scratch my shoulder and felt my collar bone. I don't even remember the last time I felt my collar bone! It's those little things that push you to keep going :)
