Lost the "depression" weight but...
Hey all! I've been at this for a while now and am happy with my progress...now I'm just looking to get toned. I went through a rough period in my life and gained significant weight from it. I'm still finding it hard to want to exercise. Not even finding hard to "want" to...just feeling very blah about it. I walk frequently…

Looking for friends who will not let me quit!
Hi guys! This is my 3rd attempt at MFP. While I've continued to lose weight without it, I really want to be in it for the long haul this time! I always last for a few months and then slowly fizzle out. Looking for motivating friends who will show support and encouragement! Xoxo

Healthy Treats To Beat The Heat??
With it being 95+ degrees outside everyday, I'm finding it hard to keep up with my calorie intake. The heat makes me have no appetite, plus I don't want to turn on the stove or oven with this weather. Does anyone have any easy, healthy snack ideas that help fight the hot weather? I eat tons of fruit and often do plain,…

Acorn Squash??
Hi all! I'm making acorn squash for a side tonight...but the old me would bake it and top it with butter and brown sugar...mmmmm. Obviously, I can't really eat that while trying to lose weight :-P What are some good toppings/ideas/healthy ways to dress up such a boring squash?

Am I Doing This Right?
I started MFP abour 4 weeks ago and have lost 8 pounds so far. I allow myself (well MFP allows me) 1,590 calories per day and I frequently burn around 500 per day with exercise. A typical day is: wake up-have coffee and a protein shake go for a 2 1/2 mile walk (burning around 200 calories) have a protein packed lunch…

Increase Exercise, Decreased Appetite....
I've been doing the MFP program for about 20 days now and I am finding it harder and harder to reach my daily calorie goal. I usually have a healthy, filling breakfast, a small lunch (I'm not much of a "snacker") and then a protein/low-carb dinner. I always think I did great and then I go for a 5K run with my husband, log…

Looking For People To Keep Me Motivated!
Add me or tell me to add you! Looking for all the buddies I can get. This is so much easier to stay on top of with "friends." I'm fairly new to MFP but I post a lot and will do my best to keep you going as well! :)

Addicted To Running
So, I know that most fitness programs/experts say to run on non consecutive days...but lately I am absolutely addicted and can't skip a day. I feel gross and lazy if I don't run on a day, so I've been running everyday since I started the Couch25K program. Is it really that bad for you or can I get away with it for a bit...?

DO or DON'T Weight Yourself Everyday??
I tend to weigh myself almost everymorning...and I see a pattern of down 2 pounds one morning, up .8 pounds the next, down 2 pounds, up 1.8 pounds, etc. I'm assuming that this is bloat and salt, so I'm wondering what the best time of day to weigh yourself is and how often you are supposed to?

Couch-2-5-K
Has anyone completed this program? I'm currently on Week 3;Day 3 where it has me running for 3 minutes at a time and I actually am finding that I have a lot more endurance than I did when I started 3 weeks ago. Did anyone complete this to find that they really COULD run a 5K?

New To My Fitness Pal
Hi, all. I'm hoping to gain some motivation and hear others' stories of success as I pursue my weight loss journey. I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl last August (she's almost 8 months....holy cow) and I am finally taking initiative to shed the 50 pounds I gained during my pregnancy. I had a great, easy pregnancy…
