Willing to give it a shot

Those two things are separate. One is the amount you may actually lose and is an estimate, one is the amount you want to lose and affects the calories you can/should eat daily.
-
So far it looks like we came up a bit short this week. It's really tough with losing members and these big challenges.
-
I am hoping to do a lot of work/working out this week to make up for me not really bieng on the ball last week. The good news is I just finished the Belly Dancing videos, and am at least 30 minutes in for today.
-
I feel pretty good about this last week! I am excited to finally be down to 139 and out of the 140s. :) I also got a new fit bit which will hopefully give me a better picture of my daily activity.
-
Yay for feeling better! Make sure you take care of that ankle as its healing, sprains take a bigger toll than most people realize.

That's a lot of minutes!! Amazing. I am finding it a bit difficult th e past couple days to stay totally on target with Family in town plus some extra stress coming from health issues at home. Yesterday I was close but still over, and I feel like the next few days will probably look similar. I am hoping to keep on track…

Hey everyone! We all seem to be doing well this week :). Once the kiddo goes down for her nap I'm gonna bang out some work out minutes, try to recoup for yesterday.
-
Droppin in for today :). I think we can do this, even if it is quite a few minutes. So far it looks like we have a lot of minutes going in! I had a good day today, and hope everyone else did as well!

Also, remember that you don't have to totally cut out all those things you love! Don't try to completely deprive yourself, since we need to learn how to eat well at maintenence. Look ahead at your day/week and try to fumd a way to have one of those good comfort food meals. If it fits your calories /macros, then go for it

I am interested as well!

Hey everyone! I'm Alyson. I'm 28, 29 this year and am trying to lose about 24 lbs from my current weight. I got down to roughly 130 last year before my wedding, and felt pretty good even though it wasn't quite my goal weight. Between getting married, mocing, finishing up my associates degree, and having my first kid, I…

# 3_ Just doing a quick Google search will yield results that the "How often" Part just isn't really true. It has actually been "proven " recently that meal times have no real correlation to weight, and it is all dependent on what you are eating in those meals. On tidbit I came across also suggests this, only has a longer…

Our colors are Orange (Tangerine, pumkpiny-Depending on the item) Blue, and silver. I think picking the colors was my favorite part haha. Our favors are mostly going to be just part of the wedding. WE have the bubble, (which I am going to glue some small ribbon to), some "Note to the bride and groom", and maybe one other…

I try to remember to just keep everything in moderation as well. Meaning I rarely tell myself I just can't have something, I just need to make it fit into my daily, or weekly calories. (Keeping a weekly tally has really helped me not feel so guilty about daily snacks/treats/life happening) But I still get cravings for…

My wedding is actually coming up this year, in September. But we are not doing a destination wedding, just at a venue around the corner from our Condo.
-
Thank you both! I didn't initially expect to be excited by just the number of days I kept at it. Today is a good day :)

I do agree with the other posters, 5 lbs in a month is nothing to scoff at. Remember to have patience, and have small goals to keep yourself going. The question I have for you is in regards to your diary entries, A lot of them say Homemade for the food items. Are you making these at home? Are these recipes you are…

Joining in, but I am going to start out small. I am working through the C25K currently, and hope to do an actual 5k towards fall. Let's go for 25 :)

Give it some time, as well. When I first started at my current job, my feet where numb and I couldn't make myself do much of anything when I got home. Once your body gets used to it, it gets better. You will find yourself less sore every day, and less tired from an average day/week of work. Stick with it, and your routine…

Starting our journey, me and my fiance get to watch some baby ducks grow up, they still have fuzz and everything, and live around the lake we use for our runs. It never occurred to me that being outside so often would show me things like this.
-
I actually planned on looking into this a bit more later on. At 30 days of keeping up with my routine, I get to reward myself with a FitBit, and will probably end up torn between the two.

Mine all fall into a black hole somewhere, (Mostly when the boys do the dishes. I don't know how they lose things that have always had the same home...) "Meat is fattening and has carbs" *Eats heaping bowl fool of rice and seafood, sandwiches with 4 servings of peanut butter, and an entire bag of pasta* < My roommate

I did not go back all three weeks, so it may look different in prior periods, but one big thing that struck me was the amount of total calories you have been eating. It's great to log, but you are going over your goal, past the calories earned from working out. If it's not a deficit, you won't lose the weight.

I think the big thing was trying to do my normal cardio afterwards, it just didn't give them enough time to breath. The total distance was 1.5 miles, but it wasn't all running, We went back and forth between walking and running since we are both out of shape. I think the calculated mph was about 4.5 with the overall time.

This was my thinking, exactly. I may take more frequent breaks from studying today to make sure my legs aren't just sitting still. (Which usually doesn't help me anymore than over doing it) The thought of trying to run with the muscles that hurt today sounds awful.

In for this one :D

I'm in!

I'm in! I am about to start my morning workout, I will see how many I can fit in!

Finished about 65 of them yesterday.
