Look into a california roll.... not too bad (crab and avocado) It's my favorite even when I'm not on a diet, but it's pretty reasonable. But I agree... usually 2 rolls is a good amount.

My suggestion: Have her weigh in the morning right before the shower and after she has used the restroom. This is more accurate because most food and water will have been digested and mostly moved it way out. If you weight at the end of the day, you're weighing what you have ate all day too. Sadly, the world does not stop when we decide to go on a diet. Either cook your own food or start working out to compensate for the delicious food your sweet mother is making for you.

yeah... my WEDDING dress haha Last time I checked it ALMOST zipped up. :) Ive lost 7 pounds since that fitting so... I'll try it on in a week or two... I think it will fit now! Hopefully since my wedding is July 20th! :)

I don't know about your DR's office, but the scale at mine always reads higher than the one I have at home... so maybe its not completely you :) Hang in there and jump back on the bandwagon!

Not a 2014 bride... (Wedding date: July 20, 2013) but for all of you that are saying that a year just isn't enough to plan a wedding, it is! She's right. lol. People are going to bash ya :/ 1000 is WAAAYYYY too little.... like that's really unhealthy... and anyone with that little of caloric intake is going to lose. But it all depends on your height and weight. i'm interested to see where this thread goes...

I'm in the same boat... I felt so big in high school... but I'd kill to be that size again. I'm getting married July 20, 2013, and my wedding dress doesn't fit right now.... I'm in full on stress/sweat for the wedding mode... I'd love the friendship. I'll add ya!

Also, Take a bite of food. Chew it slowly... Does it still have the flavor? Yes. chew it some more. Still have flavor? Still taste good? Probably. So chewing and swallowing quickly doesn't make it taste any better. Enjoy your food :) I like to savor every calories I allow myself a day lol.

Put your fork/spoon/hand (whatever you're eating with) for 5 - 10 seconds between bites :)

My dress currently doesnt fit (it's too small) and my wedding is less that two months away... I could use tips too lol. Ive just been sticking to a strict diet and doing lots of walking. I don't need to lose a whole lot to fit into it, but I just want the comfort of knowing my dress fits...

I count calories on everything EXCEPT Fruits and veggies (besides like avocados, corn, lima beans... stuff I know has a lot of calories) it's like doing part weight watchers and part myfitnesspal

AND if you get your body moving (even just walking) you would probably be able to enjoy a small amount of chocolate :)
