Well done on the weight loss and the running!! I started running for a half marathon almost 2 years ago and started only being able to run for 2 mins....so keep at it :bigsmile:

I agree the Cardiff is a good half....I am definitely doing it this year, did it in 2009 missed out on 2010 as the places filled up very quickly (and i left it til the last minute....oops!!!) In a much better place fitness wise, so looking forward to it!!! Not training much this weekend though, but will be running around…

I eat nuts and seeds as an afternoon snack, you've gotta weigh them to keep track of the calories and fat but quite filling.:smile:

I agree!!! Set it as the lower exercise goal in case you don't get to the gym... Realistic goals are more likely to be achieved!!! Good luck.......

Its nice to get some positive comments, keep at it...some weeks are just slower than others!! I've been doing yoga/muscle exercises on the wii a lot more this week and have felt the difference too....:bigsmile:

I agree....a loss of 1lb per week usually gives you a higher daily calorie allowance!!! Which is much more realistic and achievable...

I decided to give the pancake thing a miss this year....got fruit and yoghurt instead!!! May have a celebratory pancake when i get under 12stone!!!!

My friend's husband takes a spin class at the International Pool (..not actually in the pool.....obviously:wink: ) DW sports is about a min from my house, closer is better, no need to go home after work....otherwise the sofa would be too tempting!!! DW sports is ok, more of a convenience gym for me!!!

I did the Alcaraz and Angel Island trip!!!!! ....well worth the extra money as Angel island was such an interesting place!!! Very jealous....enjoy:wink:
