I use Braggs Liquid Aminos. Tastes pretty much like soy sauce, though, less sodium.

I add in my vitamin calories. I actually added a Vitamins meal to MFP to keep track of all of them, with or without calories.

I have the fitbit zip and love it, it's been through the wash and survived (killed the battery though). Had the One and lost it, but it was great. After I lost the one, I got the zip because Best Buy had a 2 pack of them for the same price as the One, now I have a backup if this one gets lost. I had the Flex and returned…

1-5 lbs. over the course of 4 days (day before my course starts and the 3 days I have it) and it leaves the day after my period ends.

I don't keep my crave foods in the house. When I crave something, I walk to the gas station (3/4 mile from home) and buy it, this way I've gotten some exercise in also. Most importantly, pay attention when you eat. Usually after 3 or 4 bites my cravings are satisfied and I don't enjoy it as much and now I know I'm just…

I mostly just pay attention to calories. I do make sure I get at least 60 grams of protein a day and that on most days I have around 30 grams of fiber. I watch fiber because if I have several low fiber days in a row I start to feel like crap and just want to lay around doing nothing.

I log everyday, low calorie day or high calorie day, it doesn't matter. You don't get an accurate view of what you eat if you don't log it all. It's quite easy to eat your weekly calorie deficit back in one day. If you don't log it, you won't realize how much you are actually eating on that day. I, personally, don't…

Yes, and if MFP and your Fitbit are connected your fitbit will pull that information from MFP and incorporate it into your daily totals. Yesterday I shoveled, my fitbit didn't give me much for it. I added the activity to MFP (don't forget to add a start time) and the MFP information overrode what the fitbit had for that…

I don't use cooking oil spray, the soy lecithin in them are bad for your pans. I actually have really good pans and can cook eggs without any oil at all. But, I usually use a tsp. of Ghee (clarified butter) because I like the flavor. If your pans are still in good shape, you can use just a tsp of oil and rub it around with…

I don't worry about sodium or sugar. I eat too much fruit during the week to make that sugar goal and sodium has never been a concern for me. I do pay attention to my fiber, if I can keep it at around 30 on most days, I personally feel much better.

Depo didn't make me gain weight, per se, what it did was turn on my "I'm Hungry" switch and it would never turn off. Not only did I always feel hungry, no matter how much I ate I never felt full. So I gained weight because I wasn't paying attention to what I ate, how much I ate or how often I was eating. Depo definitely…

The range is rather huge, but, something like this, depending on who you ask. 45% to 65% of calories eaten should come from carbohydrates. 20% to 35% of calories eaten should come from fat. 10% to 35% of calories eaten should come from protein. It is suggested that you get at least 60 grams of protein daily while you are…

I'm not sure if their kids' special needs are physical or mental, but, I suggest stressing how important it is to model good eating and an active lifestyle for their children. Also how important it is to let their children know, you do this because it's good for your body and your mind, not just for weightloss or physical…

A really simplified formula for calories, when you have a lot of weight to lose, is your weight multiplied by 7 to get your daily calories. Most (not all) lightly active women need between 10 and 12 calories per pound of body weight to maintain weight. So 7 calories per pound will give you a nice steady weight loss without…

yes, to the scrambled eggs and salsa. I also use it in place of salad dressing on salads. Great on top of grilled shrimp, chicken or fish. Or mix it with rice and beans. I put fresh salsa on loads of things.

Love it! I had the Fitbit One and lost it and figured if the chances were high I would lose it again I better not spend a $100 on getting a new one, so I went with the Zip. I got the 2 pack of Zips at Best Buy for $80. Now I have a backup in case of loss.

I put fresh salsa on a lot of things I didn't used to; meat, eggs, cottage cheese. I'll use a jarred salsa in place of salad dressing because it's a better consistency to coat the lettuce. Raw veggies with hummus is one of my favorite snacks.

Brush your teeth. No one feels like eating after they brush their teeth, everything tastes weird. This is what I do if it's a boredom thing and not actual hunger. If it's hunger, I eat, no matter what my calorie goal says.

Vegan with a Vengeance has tons of great recipes in it. I really like "Saving Dinner the Vegetarian Way," lots of recipes my meat eating family loved. An added bonus is it's done in weekly dinner menus with shopping lists.

Love this scale. I haven't had it fluctuate more than 0.2 lbs with multiple weighs. Plus, it syncs automatically with MFP.

When I feel unmotivated I work on just maintaining my weight. It gives me the added bonus of having a realistic idea of what my body needs to just be as it is, plus, when I drop my calorie intake back down to weight loss calories I see a big loss that first week which helps motivate me.
