I love Trader Joe's bran flakes....very yummy by itself or with a bit of fruit. I also like Cheerios (plain and honey nut); grape nuts and Kashi go lean.

Great job!! You look amazing.

I agree...during the week when I am structured I do wonderfully, but come the weekend or going out....not so good. I too am learning how to just say "no" but it is really hard. I am proud of all the changes I have made so far but I still need to work on the control issue. I am curious to see how other's who have struggled…

I love this challenge....an additional 226 calories today doing something fun. I think I will ride bikes with my son to the park and help him with his baseball game (unless it reaches 100+ degrees again today). I will post later and let everyone know!

Awesome job!!

I continue to have problems with my left foot going numb after approximately 13 minutes of running....I think it is time to visit a running store to have a gait analysis done and I also think I need a new pair of shoes. I started doing a lot of reading on running and I think my shoes may be too small.

I feel the same way....I NEVER thought I would be "one of those people" who feels bad for not working out. I do take rest days but it stresses me out!
-
Absolutely I can relate!! I run on the treadmill and I am amazed at how far I am able to go some days. I too started (but have not yet finished) the C25K program. I started it months ago and now can run 25-35 minutes on a routine basis (still not entirely comfortably). I am still significantly overweight but my body is…

I have been resisting finishing C25K (not sure why) but I am going to restart week 7 this week because I really want to finish the program. I downloaded the bridge program but the One Hour Runner sound very interesting. I will look up the inforamtion and see if the program is something I feel I can complete. Thanks!!

My diary has always been public and I honestly don't think about other people viewing it (I forget that it is public)....I am always honest-because that is how I am going to lose weight.

Ok....

That is fantastic!! Great job!

Tonight for sure!!

At 70 now...not sure I will make the 250 before midnight. I will do a few more in a bit!

I must have fresh fruits and veggies at all times (organic) organic yogurt hummus cheese oatmeal peanut butter bran cereal strawberry kefir I can't really think of anything else I absolutely have to have...but those are staples for me. Not sure if that helps you!

The food pyramid (silly I know) but I have been focusing on getting enough raw fruits and vegetables each day. I try to add either a fruit or a veggie to each meal and snack. My next goal is to get enough whole grains into my diet each day and to continue to eliminate processed foods from my diet and pantry. Since starting…

I went to my first Zumba class on Sunday. I think it will be my Sunday exercise.....I want to practice some of the moves though, I spent a lot time trying to figure out the moves! I totally agree that it was such a FUN workout!!

Right there with you...feel free to add me.

Thanks, I just realized this morning that I needed to refocus my goals. Your post was very helpful.
-
ok...will work on this challenge through out the day.
-
I have not lost enough weight :grumble: to give away my fat clothes yet...so I did not complete the challenge this weekend. :frown:

I add it under cardio (circuit training) and log the amount of calories I burned from my HRM. I will sometimes add the weights/reps done under the strength training.
-
This is awesome!!

I am going to download the c210k app today. I was able to run a 5k twice last week and will continue to work on improving my speed and increase my distance.
-
I am glad you posted this....I am going to download the c210k app and try that. I stopped the C25K program at 7 weeks but found that I was able to run a 5k in about 45 minutes. I am very happy that I started the program and I am amazed that I am at point where I can run for 45 minutes!!
-
It depends sometimes I log it as jogging or sometimes I split it up. I always use my HRM to record the number of calories I burned. I am at a point where I am mostly running so I usually record it as running. In the note section I specify how long I walked and at what speed. That way I can look back to see how much…
