Sorry I have no advise for you.....BBQ's are my downfall. I still need to learn how to make healthier choices in those situations. I would encourage you to exercise before you go. Let us know how it turns out!!

I only count the "exercise" I do intentionally (treadmill, weights, yoga, etc)....everything else is just bonus calories that I hope will lead to a healthier more active lifestyle (such as taking the stairs rather than the elevator or escalator).

I have done both and I prefer MFP. I log all my fruits and veggies-I want to ensure I am eating my fruits and veggies each day. I can look back and see where I may have not had as many vegetables as I wanted for a day. I would suggest entering the information.

I too sometimes "plan" my calories around drinking as well; especially if I know I am going out with friends or I want to have a couple glasses of wine with dinner. I have a public diary and I have never had a negative comment. I realize that having a couple of bloody mary's on Sunday greatly impacts my Monday morning…

Mine is public as well. I try to eat healthy and some days I actually succeed. I try to incorporate fruits and vegetables everyday (raw as much as possible) as well as organic dairy products. I like the Beck's Premium Light beer (it actually tastes like beer). I have a hard time on Sunday's which is typically when I make myself a couple of Bloody Mary's (which are not helpful for my Monday morning weigh in). Perhaps plan your calories for a beer or two when you know it is game day?

Parked much farther than normal at work today; I walk around the office more than I was sitting (or at least it felt like it) AND I started spinning as soon as I got my bike adjusted approximately 10 minutes before class started and did not start my HRM until the class officially began.

I will agree that the C25K is not as easy as it seems. I have been "stuck" on week 7 for weeks now. However, I am amazed at my increased endurance levels and how far I can push myself since starting the program. Initially running a 5k seemed like an impossible goal. Today I made a batch of granola and pudding (for my son's lunches). My BF also made a pot of split pea soup for our lunches this coming week. We typically make soup on the weekends or a batch red sauce. Not sure if that helps, but I find soups to be pretty quick and we usually double the batch and freeze some for quick…

I love spin class....I would like to try Zumba but I am not sure I am coordinated enough to get through the class! lol. Spin is intense but I always burn a ton of calories and feel great once I am done.

My sodium intake has been out of control recently as well....I typically eat more natural food and try to stay away from most processed foods-lately that has not happened. I was also on vacation and I have discovered when I eat out; the food typically has a ton of sodium. My goal this week is to lower my sodium intake…

I always use my HRM to record my calories rather than MFP. I have started wearing it whenever I do any exercises including strength training, yoga, etc.
