Thanks for posting...I too am trying to meet my nutritional goals in addition to meeting my calorie goals.

I like the idea of short term goals. I had been doing well since I started in January but in the last week I have reverted back to all my old habits. :grumble: This week my goal is to exercise at least three days during the week. I did hop on the treadmill Monday night for 25 minutes and my plan is go to spin class…

My friend is also doing the Warrior Dash in AZ next month. I did not sign up because I felt like I needed more training before I attempted it!! Maybe next year. I would love to hear about your experience...sounds like it will be fun.

I so agree...this is a much better way for me to lose weight. I struggled with WW but here I feel as though I can actually make permanent changes to my diet.

Excellent job on your willpower!!!

I am also 5'7 and my goal weight is 135.

I too aim for a minimum of 25 grams per day.

I too love beer and I the only light beer that I can stomach is Beck's premier ultra light. It actually tastes like beer. I will still have other beers that I love when I go out...I just plan for it and add it into my calories. Sometimes I go way over, but I do like beer (and wine).

That is fantastic!! It is so true...this change is about making changes to unhealthy lifestyles (at least it is for me) rather than just dieting.

I am starting week 7 and all of my runs have been on the treadmill. I also am thinking of taking my runs outside. I would love to hear about your experience if you do end up running outside.
-
What great ideas. I will have to try the tomato juice...sounds awesome.

It is nice when someone else is able to take notice. Great job!

Feel free to add me as well.

Same here...I also love the Cache bras from Lane Bryant. I have always had large breasts even when I was thin. I would be happy to lose a little.

You are welcome to check out my diary....I have really made an effort to cut out processed foods and typically eat organically as much as I can. I feel that it is better for my family. I still buy granola (have been afriad to make my own) and lunch meat. I am pretty good most days but sometimes I still fall for the…

Great idea with the rice and stir fry veggies....I avoid the frozen meals as much as possible as well (sodium is too high for me) but I sometimes am stumped on a quick healthy alternative. Thanks for the idea.

I always aim for 25 grams of fiber each day. I also eat a lot of high fiber foods (or at least I try too) and I think the amount set is too low (just my opinion).

I always have at least one Prodigy song and Lords of Acid. Classic running songs for me.

I LOVE Trader Joe's and every time I go I get: organic non-fat milk, organic low-fat vanilla yogurt, organic non-fat vanilla greek yogurt, bran flakes (cereal), pecan praline granola, mixed berries (for smoothies and my cereal), orange flavored cranberries (for my oatmeal), and spicy sweet walnuts for snacks. I also love…

I too am doing the C25K as well; I am stuck on week 6. :grumble: I will send you a request! :flowerforyou:

Mexican Food: a beef taco, green burrito enchilada style, chips and salsa with a Modelo Especial.

i am with you...weekends are my downfall; I am so good at structuring my meals during the week and when the weekend comes-yikes! I am continuing with my workouts and my goal the next two weekends is to structure my days like I would for the work week (snacks, lunch, breakfast, etc).
-
forgot to post yesterday (3/8/11)...did day 1 week 6 C25K-30 minutes of walking/running-2 miles. Monday did spin class instead of walking.

My diary is public-I have not had any negative feedback at all. I like being able to view other people's diaries to get food ideas and to learn how to incorporate healthy food into all areas of eating. I have had some REALLY bad days but that is life. I do what is best for me and want to support others on their journey to…
