  • I rested yesterday and did Pure Cardio/Cardio Abs today. I can't believe I've already finished two weeks of this program! Even better, I can already feel a significant difference in my physical fitness level. I have a lot more stamina now than I did 2 weeks ago... I can't wait to see how I'm doing in 2 months!

  • My work life has been difficult and distracting this week, but I am hanging on and continuing to do my workouts. It's hard to feel spirited and motivated about it, but I'm determined to keep going. Physically, things aren't going that badly. I did power and resistance today, and I still need to do pushups on my knees…

  • Plyo is still hard for me, but today was significantly better than the last time I did that workout! I also made it through the warmup without feeling particularly tired, so I think my fitness level has already gone up a bit. I do have some calf tightness though—it's not the butt kicks that get me, it's the football…

  • I, too, have begun Week 2! Congrats to those of you who are seeing such quick results. :) I lost about a pound last week, and that is great by me! For some reason I wasn't feeling super motivated this morning (inertia from rest day, perhaps?) but I still went downstairs and pushed play. I had to take a few breaks during…

  • I am enjoying my day off! I'm eating just like I did on all the other days this week, and maybe I'll take a nap... But I'm already kind of excited about tomorrow. I have a serious love/hate relationship with these workouts!
  • That second set in the Plyo Circuit destroys me, too! It's the absolute worst part of any of the month 1 workouts, at least for me.

  • I did Pure Cardio today, too. That workout is tough! Don't feel bad, aletadiana—I did knee push-ups instead of push-up jacks, too. I was pretty wiped out by the end and figured it was better to keep strengthening my arms than to end up doing very little with that minute of workout time. I also had to take a couple of short…
  • I did the recovery workout too! I loved it because the slower pace made me feel like I got to "practice" some things, like making sure my hands are right under my shoulders in plank position, etc. Also those never-ending squats and lunges were challenging but I'm learning to love the burn. My inner masochist is very…
  • Hey all! I'm a PhD student and I need to lose some dissertation weight and take better care of myself. I started running again and did a little bit of JIllian MIchaels, but once I've decided to do something I tend to push myself as hard as possible. I always want more! Insanity was appealing because it's one of the most…

  • Today was my third day, too. Yesterday was brutal, but I actually enjoyed myself today. Looking forward to the recovery workout tomorrow, since Pure Cardio is supposed to be extremely tough and I want to be ready!
  • Day 2 down! It was tough, especially that second circuit, but I'm done and feeling better after a shower and an awesome breakfast! I rested a lot more than I wanted to during the pushups/plank position moves, but there's always next time...
  • So happy I found this thread! I just started Insanity today, too! Definitely friend me if you want encouragement from a fellow masochist.
