  • I posted something very similar and decided that I didn't have to eat back all my calories but I needed a snack before I went to bed. I found if I didn't I was too hungry and that wasn't good. So I think if your doing your workouts and need to take the hunger edge off have a small meal or snack to get you through. I am no…
  • That is really great! Good for you!
  • Don't panic! Sometimes you hit a plateau and stay there for a bit. Try changing some of yor exercises. When you do the same thing all the time your body gets used to it and won't burn as much calories (because your getting stronger GOOD!) Just don't give up because that won't ever get you where you want to be. You can do…

  • You may be gaining muscle which weighs more, you might also not be eating enough. Your body will go into starvation mode if you don't give it enough.
  • I take cooked cauliflower and add some milk and a tiny bit of butter (optional) and put it in a food processor. Blend it up and it is a great substitute to potatoes. They taste very similar to mashed potatoes.
  • just checked out your site and sent you my email
  • This is a great idea! Tastes so good. I believe they are soy beans still in their pod. Great source of protein.
  • That is huge weight loss for such a short time. Give yor body time to adjust and just keep at it.
  • The best tool on here is the people! It also really helps me be aware of what I'm putting in my mouth because I have to log it on here later and people will see and I will have to see the numbers ugh it's helps me think twice. And if your having a rough time tell people on here and they will help. I love MFP PEOPLE! Feel…
  • if he won't keep it in his room either throw it out to teach him a "lesson" like he is trying to teach you or ducktape it so it isn't easy to get into!
  • I have my period almost everyday. Most of the time it's light but twice a month I get PMS (lucky husband and kids) and heavy for a few days. I have had tons of tests, birth control and ablasion surgery done (helped make it lighter). My suggestion is to be proactive and get yourself checked out. Remeber you know your body…
  • Thanks all you are right! I know it in my head but sometimes it gets the better of your emotions. I appreciate all the support! I haven't done the measure myself yet so maybe that will be my next step.
  • your stomach talkes louder than you do
  • I have been doing the same thing for 10yrs! It is really frustrating. I wish I had the answer. I know signing up for this site has already helped me. Just one day at a time.
  • I totally believe in a cheat treat. I think how often and what is up to the individual. I think for me more than 1 thing every two weeks is a slippery slope so I limit it to that. One thing every two weeks. One meal not a whole day or I would go overboard.
  • I can't speak for anyone else but for me it just came down to a choice. I had to stop making excuses and just start doing something. It doesn't mean you have to change all at once. Baby step help motivate you to do more. I work full time and have 2 kids and I really don't like being this way anymore! I had to decide to…

  • I think it's good to have an over all goal but starting with smaller goals first seems to work better. I too weigh more than I ever have but know I may never get back to before kids shape. Small goals for me is where I'm starting with a bigger goal in the future. Good luck!
  • Hello I too am looking for 25-30lbs lost. I have started about a two weeks ago (only a week on here) and I think it's working. I refuse to weigh myself for a couple of weeks in hopes I will be really happy with what I see. I have a workout buddy (several) and it REALLY helps motivate me. I have been trying for years on my…
  • I think focusing on the positive is a good way to go. You recognised you didn't make good food choices so it shows your aware and that's half the battle. You still lost weight YAY as long as your still doing your exercise give yourself a break and try to do better next week. :)
  • so I decided that as long as I stay in my calories for the day eating at night is not a bad thing. As long as it is something light so I won't have to go to bed hungry. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks everyone for your help it's nice to know there are other people out there.
