I agree with the home made ice tea, and just normal tea. I drink tea like breathing. Plus the warm water helps curb appetite.

Notttt, plus it's a huge waste of money! You'd be better off saving for a real treat like a manicure or a holiday than consciously shilling dollars out for emphyzema, yellow skin and nails, mouth and/or throat cancer, and an increased risk of developing cataracts. Especially if you are in a relationship with someone and…

EVERYTHING IN THIS! (praise hands emoji) In all seriousness, tell her exactly how you feel, and if she really isn't appreciating your concern or following up with her goals and being self conscious, self loathing-y and a debbie downer even when you constantly reinforce that you still love her and find her attractive, then…

Everything in moderation. Doing a "meatless Monday" from time to time doesn't hurt. Learning to eat more sustainable proteins is the way to go. Eating locally and sustainably is often more expensive but it is better for the animals, better for the environment (all the emissions of shipping! eeeek!, not to mention…

Exercise doesn't really target areas to lose fat, it just kind of burns off the way it was put on. Eat at a deficit, ALWAYS log your food, and drink lots of water. I like to make enough smoothie for a lunch and then save the rest for tomorrow's breakfast. Also drinking a glass of water before each meal helps kind of fill…

I interpret it as fear, aggression, reproach, trust (almost sibling-like with the making faces and the ways he carriers her), joy, loss, and finally, sorrow with their imminent separation because of their difference in size (the divide between childhood and adulthood perhaps?). Just because they are wearing tight nude…

Yogurt, a piece of fruit and a lean cuisine if they're on for a good sale (usually under 250 cals depending on the meal, my fave is chicken in wine sauce with roasted vegetables). I'm a big fan of making enough dinner to take leftovers for lunch too. Also granny smith apple slices and peanut butter sandwiched between whole…

Be proud, never forget where you were and always strive towards where you want to be and most importantly: celebrate every success along the way. Congrats, man!

^Agreed, I don't look at anything other than focusing on not dropping weights or falling off machines. Even if I go with friends as a social workout or with my boyfriend, I don't tend to notice myself noticing others. Just do you! It's not like anyone can fault you for getting back on the horse.

^THIS! All of this! Don't pass your bad eating habits on to your children, you should be thankful that fate is intervening while your family is still very young. 6 year old's are shockingly adaptable; make finding healthy foods you all love into an adventure. Having the support of your family and doing the switch to…

Awesome transformation, you should be so proud! You look a lil' like Jeremy Shada of Adventure Time fame. As for you hating your cheeks, I say keep doing what you're doing and let the rest of man-maturity take its course. My best friend is 22 (the baby of our group) and his face is JUST starting to get some man bone…

I agree, don't sweat supplements! Weight training and healthy exercise practices are generally the best way to feel good and make a lifestyle change instead of going between one extreme and another. If you are an obsessive person like me, one thing I would recommend is having a friend or trainer keep you accountable for…

Congrats, you got this!

I'm 5'7.5", just shy of 5'8", right now I'm 134 pounds and defs rocking "skinny-fat" as of late. I look thinner than normal because I am only eating 1200-1400 cals a day without exercise other than walking to the bus and around campus (I try to do 100 squats a day before showering), but all my nice toned muscles have…

Oh lord, once a week if that. If I did it every day I'd be anorexic again. I take my measurements every 2 weeks though, sometimes more often depending on the season.

In all honesty, is your health across your lifespan not worth it? Other than smoking, obesity is one of the top factors exacerbating age-realted illness and disability. I get where you're coming from on a superficial level, but if you're not afraid of surgery then just give'er on getting to a healthy and appropriate weight…

Parties in the first 2 years of university were what solidified my friendships with new peers who have grown into dear, dear friends (guys and girls) I treasure seeing outside of a crazy, drunken, wild party environment. I am Canadian, so I think it's a little different because our drinking age is 19, so we get…

A plain black sweater (knit sweater, sweater, not hoody) dark jeans and boots would be totally appropriate! Pair it with a long or statement necklace though: Walmart, Target is awesome, and other department stores have on-trend, cheap and chic statement necklaces that can dress up basics like plain sweaters. (this link…

That made my day^

Yeah, I'm all about the giant bag of pre-cut celery sticks. If it is feasible, do it. I managed to avoid chips while camping via this method (my cooler ran out of ice the first day and the celery lasted 4 days just fine kept out of the sun). Also Grissol lemon thins or any of their teeny tiny thin loaf snack packs are…

My older brother has a beer gut, an unfortunate hereditary trait on my father's side. My dad lost a lot of weight after cholesterol threats from the Dr., so I have the right to hold him accountable when he goes off the wagon, otherwise he has to go on meds. My brother just drinks, parties, and eats tonnes of processed…

Anxiety and eating disordered behaviours are an unpleasant combo, I feel you. I come from the other end of the spectrum (restricting, overcompensation with exercise, and purging) but I have the utmost empathy for you. Sometimes eating becomes more than just a day-to-day survival thing and can transform into a horrible,…

Yeah, I love that specific Nivea Q10 firming lotion, but for the super hydrating powers. I wouldn't call it a miracle cure or anything, but the act of rubbing in moisturizer gets the blood flowing and helps sluff off dead cells so it's got that going for it. I use it on my butt, thighs, and upper arms but I think the sheer…

My friends and I are going as our various Disney Princess counterparts, I am Snow Tan (because I have olive-ish skin). My best friend is a dead ringer for Belle, her boyfriend might be Beast, we have an Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Esmeralda (not exactly a typical princess but she's a Brazilian bombshell so she can do…

I love group classes with my best friend, but I am way more productive alone. My boyfriend and I like to go at the same time and do different things, but stretching together after is always pleasant.

At this point, I would say focus on toning your body and concentrating on fitness instead of weight. Your body will figure out the right balance for you when you find a manageable long term exercise routine. Great job taking control of your weight before you get old and bad habits get more ingrained!
-
Yeah, just focus on toning up! Good job so far :) Try doing squats and yoga, Pilates, ballet barre will help round out your butt with some muscle and tone your abs! Find things you enjoy and it will happen.

You don't get cast in the "attractive female lead roles" without conforming to specific body standards. Modelling agencies state minimum heights (usually 5foot 7 at least) and very specific measurements (Bust somewhere in the 30's, waist 19-20something and hips MUST be less than 36 ideally 35 but that one is really hard…

I can't stand hummus either. I wish I liked "meal salads" but I hate most salad dressings so I'd rather have all the components of a salad in separate parts without the dressing (like a seasoned chicken breast and a huge side of romaine and some croutons in a ramekin is cool with me). I HATE canned tuna. Words cannot…
