  • It's very difficult not to be voacl in my thoughts and feelings towards what he's eating. Partly because I want a slice of what he's eating abut more importantly I know how many calories and work it will take to burn that off! The interesting thing is, when I sit in the office lounge with my apple or 25g of almonds and…
  • 5 to 6 days a week. But mix it up with strength training 3 days and 2-3 days of just cardio. Supposed to be going to the gym this evening but I'm going to do some "your shape - Fitness Evolved" on the Kinect this evening instead. Rest days are vital to the body's recovery. Without them, you can be doing more harm than good.
  • @erickirb - thanks for the advice on the rest calories. I'll be sure to remove those out of the equation going forward :)
  • Guys I'm doing a Body Combat class which is about 1000 calories according to my HRM. It's a really strong Cardio work out and then I was also coupling that with a quick warm up in the gym on the weights. Which was about 350 calories. Overall an hour and a half of exercise and 1350 calories! I'm eating plenty healthy stuff…

I'm worried that if I dont get it exactly right that I'm going to stall again and not lose the weight or worse start losing muscle mass. I think its the preperation…

But rule of thumb don't buy a cheap one as they tend to be poor at registering steps! I got the sportline 340. I think you could try amazon? Hope this…
  • I know it's slightly off topic but I've been playing the Sports and Adventures that you get with the Kinect. They all get a good sweat on! Played adventures for 20 minutes and I was drenched! Quite fancy the Dance central - it looks good for making a fool out of yourself when you have a party! :)
  • You can get the EA Active 2 game. AFAIK it doesn't need the PS3 EYE camera as it has sensor belts that register the movement. It's apparently better than the Xbox Kinect version too as the kinect sensor has difficulty tracking some movements whereas the PS3 sensors are on your body.
  • personally I wouldn't worry too much about sugar from fruit. It's all natural sugar and is good for you to an extent. But if your wanting to cut down you should aim to get the majority of your 5 a day from vegetables. Its the refined sugar which is the bad stuff for you! Weight Loss groups sometimes allow you to eat as…
