It's something I'm not bothered about cutting out. The most I tend to have in a day is 3 cans of diet Pepsi/Coke and I used to drink regular Coke like it was water so I'm fine with a couple of cans of diet soda every day. I know the bad sides of drinking diet soda but there's also a lot of research out there that suggests…

I like to flavour my water with orange squash, and I keep it in the fridge so that it's cold and delicious. I also have a Brita filter which makes me more inclined to drink it as I know it won't taste like the crap that comes out of my taps! If I'm really struggling I try and have a glass with each meal, or I set an alarm…

10 packets of sweetener, is that right?!

I used to use 'light' spread but had to stop buying it when I found that when heated it looks an awful lot like cottage cheese...I started using real butter instead and I'm so glad I did, sure I have around 60 calories more than I would've with the spread but it's so much nicer, especially locally produced butter.

About 2 hours ago. Had a delicious McDonalds, but this is the first time in a while. I don't have any problem with fast food, and think, like all things, that it's fine in moderation

Everyone's different, and calories burnt can depend on a lot of things

That's amazing, you look wonderful! I have roughly the same starting weight and goal as you so it's very inspirational :) How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?
-
I'm 22, feel free to add me :)

You look so good, well done!

I'm just coming to the end of my degree and have been practically living in the library for a few weeks...this is what I did for meals/snacks: I'd make a big batch of soup (usually butternut squash and carrot or tomato and garlic) on the Sunday, enough to last me all week. I invested about £15 in a Thermos food flask which…

Being able to shop in 'vintage' stores...all those pretty dresses, far too small for me to squeeze myself into!

I always have 40g (dry weight). Just enough for me, though when I first started weighing out my portions I was shocked at how little that sesmed. Now I'm more shocked at the massive portions I used to have.

Chocolate!

Me too :) My news feed is looking a bit empty

Is this the 3 day diet where you eat saltines, tuna, hot dogs, ice cream, etc.? It's been around for years under different names. I've tried it in the past when I really wanted to 'kickstart' things, but it's rubbish. I lost about 4lbs in the 3 days and put it back on when I started eating 'normally'. What's the point?!…

I'm starting Week 6 today. Starting C25K has been one of the best things I've done, it's made me a lot fitter, has really changed my body (for the better), and has given me a new hobby that I love! Just keep going and you'll make amazing progress, it's a great program. Feel free to add me, C25k people :D

Definitely try upping your calories. You're doing a lot of exercise, and your body needs the extra food!

Too many takeaways No exercise, not even much walking Too much alcohol Lots of chocolate/biscuits while studying ...I really regret it all and wish I'd been more educated about everything. But oh well, I'm almost back to where I was so there's no point in dwelling on what happened. And all those takeaways were nice at the…

McDonalds! I don't like Burger King's, too crispy. KFC do good fries too.

I've felt the same so many times, especially around the end of the fourth week. But like mamabear says, trust the program. I decided that though it was hard, it must be doable because otherwise why would the program be like that? And when I managed an 8 minute run when previously I thought that a 5 minute run was the…

You look absolutely amazing, well done! I totally agree about not subscribing to 'dieting', it just sets you up for a fail in my opinion. But you've done so well, and your food looks SO good. Also, no way are you 33!

I love it. I'm on Week 5 and I've already been bitten by the running bug. I have never been a runner, and never enjoyed exercise but I finally feel like I've found something I enjoy and it's changed how my body looks a lot even in these 5 weeks. I feel fitter, I have more energy, and even though this sounds kinda lame, I'm…

Definitely normal. Track your measurements from now on and you'll probably see a change in those. Also, I think whenever you start a new exercise program it takes your body a little while to get used to it. I started running (which I know isn't the same as strength training) around a month ago, and it's taken til now for…

I've just started drinking green tea every day and I have a few different varieties: green tea with cranberry, green tea with orange and lotus flower, green tea with lemon, green tea with mint... they're all delicious, and as I don't really like green tea on its own it really helps. Try a flavoured variety :)

Good luck! I did day 1 of week 2 yesterday, and I'm really surprised at how far I've come already. It is tough but keep at it, the reward is worth the temporary pain :)

That's amazing, well done!

People get so desperate when they want to lose weight, though, that I'm not surprised people fall for stuff like this again and again. It's a shame though because stuff like this really isn't needed
