  • I have only ever had the chocolate ones and I used to actually eat them straight out of the freezer with a little peanut butter on top. Super yummy that way!
  • Yes. I've done the brownie mix with 1 can of Diet Coke and also done the brownie mix with 1 15oz. can of pumpkin. You truly can't taste the pumpkin in the brownies once baked, they just have a more "fudgy" consistency.
  • I bought mine off of Amazon. But you can buy it directly from Bell Plantation (the makers of it), Ebay, Amazon and netrition.com (I'm sure there's more but these are the ones that I know of).
  • I agree with this. Extended family (that only see me maybe twice a year) tell me that I'm too skinny now and need to stop "dieting." I explain that I'm in the healthy weight range now and I'm just making good food choices and exercising to be healthy, that it's not a diet. I think I could just save my breath, though,…
  • I have an iPhone (in an Otterbox). I just run with it in my right hand. This way I can see the distance/speed/time on my app (Runkeeper) while running and can also control the volume of the Pandora station that I listen to (since I don't wear earbuds).
  • We eat: ground beef, ground chicken, ground turkey turkeys and hams (when on sale) pork tenderloin & lean pork loin chops boneless skinless chicken breasts canned tuna no fish or steaks since I don't like them and I do the cooking, LOL
  • You look absolutely amazing! I need to learn to like strength training because I have no muscles and need to tone up!
  • I'm extremely frugal, so here are my suggestions: 1. Look at the grocery ads for the stores in your area. I have about 13 ads from various grocery stores in the area (and I live in a town with 1 grocery store and WalMart) and I see what's on sale for the week and price match it all at WalMart. That way I'm only making one…
  • I've been on MFP for 400 days as of today and doing my weight loss journey for about 17-18 months. I've lost 112 lbs. so far and am 2 lbs. from my goal.
  • I'm almost 32 (next month) and have an 8 1/2 year old and almost 3 year old (both boys). Feel free to add me if you'd like :)
  • We didn't have an "engagement" period per se. We met at the age of 17 when working together at the same place. We started dating at 19, had our first son at 23 and moved in together. We then lived together until deciding to get married at the age of 28. So, in total we were together for 9 years before getting married…
  • I log everything that I eat and my vitamins, mainly for my own benefit of tracking everything (including spices since I'm so OCD). The one that that I stopped logging, but used to, is gum. I have been chewing it when out running errands and I forget about it so I don't log that. Otherwise, even if it's an 1/8th of a…
  • I'm 31 years old, 4'11" with 2 sons that I had via c-section (8 1/2 and almost 3). I have lost a total of 112 lbs. (4 more since my after picture was taken). I still want to lose 2 more pounds to get to 109 lbs. I started my journey in August/September 2010 and joined MFP in January 2011. I have done all my weight loss…
  • I used to drink 6+ Diet Cokes everyday. I never drank ANY water. However, I completely cut out soda and all I drink now is plain water. At first it tasted really bad to me, but now I don't like or crave soda at all. (I don't like tea, milk, coffee, etc. so I just drink water) It has been beneficial to me because drinking…
  • Today is day 395 with MFP for me. Feel free to add me if you'd like. I try to be as helpful and motivational as I can :)
  • I just bought a package from WalMart yesterday. They are in the same section as the tofu, which is right next to the bagged salads in the produce area. Hope that helps :)
  • I don't have cocoa powder. Do you think this would still be good without it or maybe subbing chocolate PB2 for it? I absolutely LOVE your vanilla cheesecake one. It's delicious!
  • We're having Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops, Baked Potatoes, & Broccoli with Cheese Sauce. Doesn't sound super healthy I know, but the total meal is just under 400 calories and super yummy :)
  • Logging everything is important. If you can, pre-plan your day the night before. I log everything that I'm going to eat and that way I can see how many calories, carbs, sodium that I have left and if I need to get more protein in, etc. Also, depending on your energy level and what you can do, exercising makes you feel…
  • The only way I can go running by myself is if I go in the mornings when my husband and boys are still sleeping because by the time the boys are in bed in the evening, I'm just too exhausted to go. What helps me is (obviously) going to bed early, sleeping in exactly what I'm going running in (t-shirt, sports bra, sweat…
  • I LOVE oatmeal! I always only cook it with water because I don't like milk, but here's the different ways I've done it. Mixed with canned pumpkin, brown sugar, ground cinnamon & pumpkin pie spice Mixed with chocolate protein powder & peanut butter Mixed with ground cinnamon & a mashed up banana Mixed with chocolate…
  • I was getting up at 5:30 to go running in the mornings while my boys and husband were still sleeping, but recently my 2 year old has been waking up at 5:15 (he needs to go potty), so I haven't been able to leave. It has definitely put me in a funk, as that's the only time that I can go alone (besides at night, but this is…
  • You look amazing! I'm at 112 lbs. right now, but I look like your before surgery pic in regards to my belly (and to be completely honest my upper arms and my thighs too). My husband has said that he'll gladly pay for surgery for me to feel better about myself, but I feel bad spending all that money on myself. Although I…
  • I have just starting running in the last few months, prior to that I only walked (and I do Wii games at home). This, along with my change in how and what I eat, is how I have lost all of my weight in the last 17 months. So, yes, walking is a great exercise and does help you tremendously with exercise/weight loss.
  • I would change your settings to 1 lb a week instead of 2 and see how you do. This will give you more calories to work with and you can see how you do after a couple of weeks. Plus, the more you exercise, then you'll get to eat back some of those. Hope this helps!
  • I got my digital food scale from WalMart for under $20.
  • I'm a redhead...the only one in my entire extended family on both sides (and my mom is one of 9 children). I have 2 boys and neither of them have red hair either. I'm the "freak" apparently, LOL!
