Do Pilates and yoga. I have runners knee and tendonitis in my ankles and it really helps lessen the issue - strengthens and stretches out all the muscles in the leg - and eventually helps you progress to more demanding workouts. :)

Eggs in pot, add enough water to cover eggs by about 1 inch, bring water just to a boil, remove from heat, let sit, covered for 12 minutes, place eggs in a cool water bath - they came out PERFECTLY!

I'm in the same boat Sarah. I've been stuck between 10-12lbs lost for a while now, BUT I have noticed small difference in my body - my arms are noticeably slimmer, and Blake said he could see the loss in my face and thighs! :) I wish I took measurements when I started so I knew exactly how much I have lost, but even though…

It depends on how you define "sick" - if I have a headache or am having and "off" day - I still do my workouts - and usually feel 100% better afterwards! If I am actually sick - queasy, lightheaded ect., I take it easy. Make it your rest day. You never want to push yourself TOO much! If I have a cold but am not feeling too…

I weigh in every day. First thing in the morning (before breakfast, after visiting the washroom). I know most people don't like this, but I do. It motivates me. I log the difference every single day. Yes, the chart does go up and down everyday due to normal fluctuations, but I like seeing the overall trend go down over…

I am so sorry to hear of both your hard times. Life does seem to be incredibly unfair. I am 24 years old. I have lost 2 friends my own age, 1 a few years younger, 5 uncles, my godfather, my grandfather on my mother's side and my grandmother on my father's side (car accidents, cancer, heart attack, suicides, other 'natural'…

I go back and forth. I'll do as many as I can regular, then modify (on knees) as needed, then I'll hop back up on my toes and continue. It's helping and I've notice vast improvement from before - I can last longer on my toes before modifying and moving down to my knees, soon, no more knees!

OR because by the time I get to work and have time for breakfast I am SUPER hungry and then end up filing up on things I shouldn't be eating anyway. Like I said before, I got a FREE SAMPLE and I really liked it. Although I would not pay $119/month for a product when I can find many comparable in store for less than 1/2 the…

Everybody is different, but I like it. I will not attribute my weight loss to shakeology because just like everyone has said: "there is no magic drink!" ..... and I don't want to downgrade my HARD WORK! It is however very delicious and offers a lot of nutrition. I have it first thing in the morning otherwise I wouldn't eat…

MFP tends to overestimate a little bit. Fitbit is good for monitoring regular daily activity, but not so much exercise, especially high intensity cardio. A heart rate monitor would be best.

135?
-
100% correct. A HRM is more accurate for monitoring exercise, while fitbit is for everyday activities.

you can get any sub at Subway or Mr. Sub made as a salad - saves soo many carbs and calories not having that bread! Plus, they give you more veggies :)

THANK YOU! lol my fiancée was always like this too, making fun of guys doing yoga, laughing whenever I asked him if he wanted to do a workout with me, ect. That is, until after he broke his leg playing hockey. Once he got the walking boot off and was able to put pressure on it, I convinced him to do yoga with me just once…
