You can do this. I'm 70 and still trying. Been on MFP a long time and 47lbs lost. As your profile names suggests it's for keeps. Log everything to start with and you will gradually pick up new tips along the way. Good luck ckeeps

You are tackling several things at once, somake sure you log everything in the food diary and use the excercise notes and food notes, in there you can put your non smoking achievements and also the monilirybthat you build up. Macros takes a little longer to balance out, get used to logging, make sure you weigh food a log accurately. Try to walk a little more then as you get into it you can see what macros you need to adjust. Good luck I'm sure you will do just fine.
