  • I used Befitin90 on youtube. It's free and only 30 minutes long. It's a 90 day program. I also like Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I'm about to start her body revolution work out program, which is also a 90 day program.
  • I did the 21 day fix and loved it. I've done three rounds of it. The first round I lost 10 pounds and 2 inches. The second and third rounds I wasn't as committed to the workouts, so I lost 6 more pounds combine during those rounds. The biggest tip I would give is make sure you plan your meals and grocery shop ahead of time.
  • I just had my 2nd child and he is now 6 months. I lost 20 of my 50 pounds I put on during pregnancy, so I'm getting back at this weight loss battle as well. I'm sending a friend request.

  • What an amazing story. Thanks for sharing. You look amazing.
  • Thanks for sharing....I've been having a strange, nagging issue and have been toying with seeing my doctor to see what might be going on. Your story has inspired me to stop making excuses as I have no reason to "not" see the doctor, exercise, eat better. Thanks so much. Here's to hoping for good news when you have your…
  • Set up a competition between you and your hubby....you could have some fun incentives for losing the most pounds, inches, etc.
  • Don't know what other people think about this, but I had good success with JM 6pack in 6 weeks.
  • I go with the idea "out of sight out of mind". It's a given you cannot avoid candy when you have children, espcecially children that go to daycare/school. I hide the candy and if it's candy I'm buying for the kiddos or hiubby, I buy stuff I don't like. Don't get down on yourself...we've all been there. Pick yourself back…
  • 5:30 wake up and shower 6:00 pack lunch, pick out toddlers clothes, get hubby and toddler up 6:10 to 6:30 watch curious george and have breakfast with toddler 6:30 get hubby and toddler off to daycare/work 6:40 do hair, finish getting ready for work 7:00 leave for work 7:30-3:30 at work 4:00 get home, workout (if feeling…
  • Wisconsin...make a line north west from Milwaukee and one north east from Madison and you'll find me where those line meet.
  • Isn't all this talk about fat people being the new norm the same as people calling others skinny and making mean comments? Seems like we're all bashing each other right now.
  • A boob job....just kidding. I'm a long way away from my goal, and really haven't decided on my rewards. I'm still stuck in "I'll reward myself for smaller goals right now".
  • Try working out in the morning. That's what I did when I first started and found lots of excuses when I got home from work. I also do a lot of 20 minute Jillian Michaels or Denise Austin videos because I feel like they give me a good workout, but aren't time consuming. Good Luck!
  • I also know nothing about training, but it sounds like this guy is trying to make himself feel better about something by putting you donw. Don't put up with that. Stop sharing with him, you don't need that kind of attitude around you. You got this!!! Keep your head up and finish that damn race.
  • No matter what you need to keep going. You can only control what you do.
  • I'm one of those overweight moms who let themselves go....it's not like I woke up one morning and decided I wanted to be fat. It compounded over years of not understanding my body and how to eat for it. I'm not trying to make excuses for myself, I just don't think we teach the right stuff. Do you know that the high school…
  • Take it off!!! You look amazing.
  • Amazing story!!! Thanks for sharing. I'm so motivated to keep going by your story.
  • The best advice someone gave me was, "no matter what happens keep going". Every time I'm feeling down about the scale or what I ate, I remind myself that I have to keep going no matter what. You can do this, just take it one day at a time.
  • I think we've all been there at one time or another. Losing weight has been the hardest thing I've had to do so far (even harder than giving birth). I struggle everyday to get motivated and I have my good days and a lot of bad ones. Take it one step at a time, one day at a time and remember everyday is a new day, a fresh…
  • I also enjoy a drink every now and then, or I should say a few nights a week. I log it and if I know that I'm going out and will have more drinks, I save calories for it or burn more calories to make up for the drinks. When I have an especially hard work week, which usually results in more drinks, I don't lose as much.…
  • Stop manipulating your numbers. I know it looks horrible when you have red numbers staring at you, but you can't make changes if you don't really know what your doing. Be honest with yourself and you'll be able to identify a pattern. Then make the healthy changes you need.
  • My goal is to maintain over the summer. I always gain over the summer, so this summer I'm looking to stay the same and it will be an extra bonus if I lose. I also want to get my son out and about. Lots of plans such as parent/tot swim lessons and tumbling. Yippee!

  • Awesome victories. I love reading about everyone's success. It gives me the encouragement to keep going and know that my goals are possible. Thanks for sharing your success.
  • I agree. I love being on the boards.
