  • I am on week 3. I found that I was pretty tired last week but feel much better this week. I do what I can do and forget the rest. I can't do the dreya rolls. The prison cell pushups are not pretty but I keep moving. I like that Tony offers up modifications (unlike Jillian Michaels in the 30 Day Shred where she yells and…
  • okay to work out some if symptoms are neck and above... should rest if the symptoms are below the neck. you body needs energy to heal.
  • I find dairy causes me to feel congested. I have been tested and I am not allergic. However, I can tell when I have had too much. The China Study was a fascinating read. You can get calcium from alot of other sources besides dairy... where do you think cows get their calicum from?
  • Exactly!

  • Congrats! I have about 20 lbs to go until I can say the same thing. Keep up the good work and soon you will be in the healthy weight range.
  • Hi my name is Libby. 231 was my heaviest in October 2011. In recent years I have been as low as 147 and I was 120 when I graduated from high school. My goal is to get to 140 and then see how I feel at that point. I am 204.8 today and hoping to hit ONEderland by February. Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • Hmmm... didn't know this came in a little packs... I got the two pound snack pack:happy: But instead of considering that a couple of serving like I did in the past, I weighed out a serving (worked out to 15 pieces) and prepackaged a bunch of servings and half servings (for my lower carb days) in ziploc snack bags. Works…
  • W2D6 - Kempo done. I so didn't want to get out of bed this morning and then didn't want to workout. Glad that I did because I felt great afterwards. Rest day tomorrow and then on to week 3.

  • W2D3 - shoulders & arms... probably my favorite workout. I also did the cardio yesterday but no time to post. Skipping the ab ripper today. Maybe I will do it tomorrow along with yoga.

  • I either slice / cube them and steam or roast. Thinly sliced (1/8") takes about 25 - 30 minutes to steam. I like to slice them potato chip thin and spray with olive oil / pepper / rosemary and then roast at 425 for about 20 - 35 minutes until the skin starts to char.. I never peel the skin off... too much work
  • B Vitamins seems to settle my moods.
  • It has been a good week exercise wise - started P90X Lean and completed the whole week. However, it is a PMS week so no weight loss - actually up a bit... hope all the bloat begins to go away this weekend and I will see the results of all the exercise and healthy eating I did last week. SW (11/26/11) 217.8 lbs Week 2…
  • First seven days completed successfully. Starting to get a bit nervous about the coming weeks but I will try to stay on track.
  • What was the best part of your week? Making it through ab ripper yesterday. What was the worst part of your week? Yoga... I didn't sleep well the night before and I got up late and only did 30 minutes... hard to get into that stretching when the body is not yet awake. What is one thing you want to focus on for next week? I…
  • W1D6 complete. Made it through the whole Kempo routine. Glad that tomorrow is a rest day. Feeling my abs quite a bit today after the ab ripper last night. One week down, 12 to go.

  • Day 1 - 5 complete... push up ( switched to incline - third step from the bottom of the stairs), sit ups, TRX assisted full squats.
  • W15 done - legs & back in the am and ab ripper after work. Didn't quite make it through all the leg/back exercise - skipped the last round because I had to get ready for work. I made it through the entire ab ripper by pausing the dvd player. I am sure I am going to pay for that tomorrow :frown:

  • 4:30 am for me but I am doing the ab ripper after work. Yoga will be split 1/2 in the am 1/2 in the pm. I don't want to get up any earlier.
  • Week1D3 done. Shoulder/bi/tri was not too bad.... over before I know it. Obviously need to increase the weight next week. Did the Ab Ripper when I got home from work.... holy holy... lots of room for improvement there. I did 227 of the 349 crunches. I will be splitting yoga into two session tomorrow.

  • Just sent you a friend request. Libby
  • You can add me as a friend. I have been working on my weight loss since the middle of October. I hope to be down in the 140's by the end of the year. Libby
  • This. I have done 4. The most important part is your goal should be to FINISH... do not put pressure on yourself to finish in a certain time.... save that for your next half.
  • LOVE my Kindle. Had it for almost three years.

  • Pull ups, more than one full push up, head stand, hand stand, crazy yoga poses. But it is early in the year... there is plenty of opportunity for improvement.
