I am starting over again also. This time I am focusing on more reasonable goals as well as changing habits. The first habit I am going to master this year is slow, mindful eating instead of inhaling my food. I am going to schedule time every day to check in on MFP to remind myself I am not alone.

Yes, it is a bit of a bummer if you forget to log in on a certain day.

Welcome to MFP. If you click on My Home, your blog is located in the blue bar just below - My Blog. To add, there is a link on the right hand side. Libby

I have the One. I find the info from the sleep tracker useful as a feeback tool. While I know that I don't sleep as well when I eat poorly, I can actually see the number of times I am "awake", which I think corresponds to tossing and turning. If I eat poorly, I am awake 10 - 18 times. When I eat properly, the number drops…

Whole new person - looks like half the person. Congrats on your success... keep up the good work.

I prefer to work out alone primarily because I workout at home at 4:30 am:noway: . If someone wants to stop by and workout with me, that would be fine:laugh:

Jillian Michaels 90 Day Body Revolution... Four strength days a week and switch it up every two weeks.

Eat healthy and just keep moving. As long as you are eating the right portions and quality food, the weight will come off. Do what you can to stay active - yes deep cleaning of the house counts - and get to the gym when you can. It is all about a lifestyle change and we can't always get to the gym.

Beet, carrots, celery, and a little apple.

I used BM a couple of years ago. I agree with the bulk and indent. I also didn't like the subscription fee, not being able to see any info without the bulky watch-like thing, and at the time, the website was less than optimal. I ordered a Fitbit One and received it last Wednesday. I guess I was ready for a new toy because…

Wear your workout clothes to be. All you have to do is get up and put on your shoes and you are ready to go. Other than that getting to bed earlier and prepping your day before you go to bed are very helpful. I am up between 4 and 4:30 a to feed the dog so that she can digest before we head our running at 5am... Now MY…

Day 3 (yesterday) and Day 4 (today) complete... the soreness from day 1 / 2 is now gone. As much as I didn't want to do this tonight, I got it done and it feels good.

Level 1 day 3 (yesterday) and 4 (today) complete. Really wanted to stop at Taco Bell on the way home from work and then come home and crash.... instead I had a nutritious dinner did JM 30DS and took out the trash... now I can crash.

Level 1 day 2 done... I was a bit sore this morning so pushed off the workout until after work. Was not in the mood when I got home but talked myself into starting it and was therefore able to finish it.
-
I started yesterday... so totally did not want to do it today but I did and I am glad.

Level 1 Day 1 complete. I too despise jumping jacks but I was impressed with myself that I could still do them since I haven't done any since I last did the shred last December.

I'm starting today also. I would love to have others help me with motivation. I did this last year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Worked well for me at the time. Then I started P90X Lean for about a month in a half. Came down with a respiratory illness and haven't been able to get motivated to strength train since…

I run with my husky-mix. She is 7 yrs old and we have been running since I got her when she was about a year old. She is a true sled dog and likes to be at the end of the leash in front of me. I quickly discovered that I need two arms swinging to run. I found a hands free leash (Cardio Canine - belt around my waist that…

Same boat here. I found that marathon training doesn't help me lose weight. As much as I hate it, strength training is the way to go. I find that I lose weight if I keep running to an hour or less three times a week and do strength training on other days. My diet has become a nighmare again and I am not regularly logging.…

This is similar to the pattern I used but I increased by increments of 30 seconds instead of a minute. And I have stuck to 4 min run / 1 min walk for years. I have completed four half marathons with this same pattern. My hips like the constant change of pace. When I run consecutively, my hips tend to lock up. In the end,…

Thank you for the support.

When tempted, I remind myself that nothing tastes as good as healthy feels.
