  • WOW! You look amazing... congrats!
  • It was a great week. I am workiny my way through Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. Today was D5L2. The scale has finally started moving again. I am down to 214. SW (11/26/11) 217.8 lbs Week 2 (12/03/11) 217.0 lbs Week 3 (12/10/11) 214.0 lbs Week 4 (12/17/11) xxx lbs Week 5 (12/24/11) xxx lbs goal =210, complete JM 30DS
  • L2D5 complete. Made the mistake of watching L3 afterward....more planks and lots of jumping... I can't wait:ohwell: But I am down on the scale this week... 214.0 this week.
  • I know! I am not fond of planks at all and they are all over the place in this routine. I did D4 today and they don't really seem any easier. :grumble:
  • L2D4 done! Yes that little devil is sitting on my shoulder complaining that it doesn't want to do this. But I answer back that it is only 25 minutes of the day. And I tell myself that by the time I get done whining about doing this, I could be done. So I suck it up and do it. The scale has started moving again so that is…
  • L2D3 complete. Was very tired this morning and the workout seemed harder than Monday. But it is done and I am glad I stuck with it. Have a great day!
  • Good Morning! L2D2 complete followed by a 1 mile walk. Woke up with just a little soreness in the deltoid area. Everything else felt fine! I thought I would be alot more sore after yesterday's workout. Hope everyone has a great day.
  • I can see the difference also. I did L2D1 today... it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. i didn't take pics but I lost about 1/2 inch all around but I lost 2 inches from my torso... now I know why I had to keep adjusting the strap on my HRM.
  • D1L2 complete... made it through... wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be (of course there was a lot of modification). I am pretty sure I won't be able to move my arms by the end of the day. I took measurements this morning. I lost about 1/2 inch in most areas except my torso - I lost 2 inches in 10 DAYS! Have a…
  • L1D10 complete! Final count on girlie pushups - 24 the first set and 15 the second! Was barely able to do 20 total when I started 10 days ago.. Onway to L2. Have a great day everyone.
  • I plan on continuing with tracking my food this month. I am also working through the 30 Day Shred... I am completed D9L1 today. SW (11/26/11) 217.8 lbs Week 2 (12/03/11) 217.0 lbs Week 3 (12/10/11) xxx lbs Week 4 (12/17/11) xxx lbs Week 5 (12/24/11) xxx lbs goal =210, complete JM 30DS
  • D9L1 complete. Seemed a bit easier today... maybe because I did it barefoot.. or maybe because I did my walking first (3 miles today). HRM still showed the same number of calories so the weight of my shoes doesn't make a difference. One more day and then it is on to L2.
  • I have a green smoothie every morning for breakfast - great way to get in some extra veg. I usually use 1 cup frozen mixed berries, protein powder, cinnamon, allspice 8 oz water... fill the rest of the Vitamix with baby spinach. Sometimes I leave out the protein powder and have eggs instead.
  • Good Morning! D8L1 complete followed by a 3.5 mile walk.... 600 calories... now I can have those multi-grain pancakes I have been craving for a couple of days:love: I watched Level 2 this morning... YIKES!:noway: Good thing I have two more days to convince myself I can do that. The scale is still refusing to budge much but…
  • D7 L1 complete. I think I better take a look at L2 this weekend cause you all are making me a bit nervous:ohwell:
  • Oh, I am doing the girly ones on my knees:ohwell:
  • Good Morning all. D6 plus a 1 mile walk complete. Didn't do as well as I hoped at the lunch meeting yesterday. Sucked down a whole pita sandwhich. But I did skip the chips and cookie  . A bit tired this morning but I did 20 pushup for the first set and 13 for the second - that double what I was able to do on day 1.
  • d5 done plus 1 mile walk in the cold November wind... at least the rain finally stopped. Although the scale is being a bit subborn, I did have to tighten the strap on my HRM about 1/2 inch  I have a four hour meeting this afternoon which includes lunch... I am aiming to eat only half of what they serve and then a…
  • I have a flat coated husky mix. My 50lb sled dog loves to walk and run. She needs lots of exercise. And the shedding is pretty much year round. But she is the best dog I have ever had.

  • Ugh.... day 4 done.... and because it is pouring rain I did 20 minutes of Zumba (well, my white girl can't dance version) to make up for not walking the dog this morning. Have a great day everyone
  • That is almost five bags of sugar. Do you really want to carry that all around again. Remember, it is a lifestyle change. Keep going just one more day and you will feel better.
  • D3 L1 done.... 4:45am is awfully early to do jumping jacks and lunges.... joints are not quite awake yet.... but it is over for the day.
  • Molly is a 5 1/2 year old husky mix. Here is her halloween picture
  • I worked in a hospital... someone named their baby "Female" pronounced fe MAL ee
  • no no no... please don't give up. there are many reasons why the scale has gone up this week. How long have you been trying to lose weight? Did you have a lot of sodium this week? Is it TOM for you? Are you excercising? What kind of food are you eating? Just keep going for one more day... eat healthy, go for a walk, log…
  • Congrats, you look great. I am 5-7 and am looking to get back to size 8. Thanks for the inspiration. As frustrating as it is to know it is going to probably take me a year to get there (and I am only 5 weeks in), seeing others reach a similar goal motivates me to keep going.
  • D1 L1 complete! I am in just as bad of shape as I thought I was :ohwell: I had to put my pink girlie weights down a couple of times. Can't wait until xmas morning when I fly through D30L3.
  • Done... no fast food allowed for me until at least 12/19/11... trying to go 30 days without fast food and 11/19 was my last drive through incident.
  • Congrats! I understand completely. I consider 4.5 mph running. Even at my best I am never much more than 5.5 mph and I have done 4 half marathons at that pace (run 4 min / walk 5 min over and over). The fact that you are moving and improving is what counts. It doesn't matter how fast you go. Good luck on your goal toward…
  • ... smokes ... does drugs ... drinks to excess ... plays video games to excess ... doesn't love my dog ... doesn't like to do dishes (deal breaker... I love to cook but HATE doing the dishes  ) ... leaves the toilet seat up
