Absolutely agree....I will NOT deny myself anything that I enjoy. I just have to make smart choices more often and work off those that aren't!

This is no laughing matter!!! Good for you! :drinker: I highly recommend the C25K program as well....when I started it, I thought I was going to have a heart attack running that first minute. But I pressed through and now running the full 30 minutes without stopping (almost at 5 km in that 30 minutes) and I've signed up…

See if you can download the "Nike +GPS" app. It's awesome - and you can sign up on the website and it keeps track of all your "runs" (walks) so you can see the total distance, set goals, etc. It works with your GPS so I'm assuming you have to have a "data plan" as well on the phone. If you don't have a data plan, try to…

Yes...we can do it...it might take me a week to complete but I will cross that finish line (hopefully not in a body bag). Thanks everyone for the encouragement!!! Stay tuned for training updates!

I'd love for you to come watch - bring your pompoms! I think swimming will be the hardest too. Must get to the pool...

I bought a "Shock Absorber" sports bra because I've heard from the running stores that they are the best....I don't have a whole lot to hold in but boy, are they are held in! Good luck!

THANK YOU - total pet peave of mine!!!!!!

Totally agree with you there....but I have started the C25K program only because I needed to "step up my game" in the getting healthy and losing weight business. I am repeating week 4 due to a pulled muscle and am dreading the end of week 5! I have not had the "runner's high" yet (hate it the whole time I'm jogging) but I…

There is one under exercise/cardio - just search "water" and it should come up. Welcome and good luck!

I've been thinking a lot lately that I NEVER want to have to lose this much weight again!!! Once it's gone, I WILL keep it in check. Good luck to you - you can totally do it! :drinker:

I love these inspirational quotes ;o) Great job on all of your running successes! I've started the C25K program (D2, W3) and so far, I have not fallen in love with running....I'm just hoping I can get to the point of doing the 5K without passing out! Haha!

I tend to leave chicken in the oven longer than necessary just to be on the safe side....if you've covered it in BBQ sauce, it shouldn't dry out so just leave it in the oven for another 15-20 minutes.
-
Ummm...there are pecans in the recipe? Does sound delicious though - must try it!

I think the MFP calculations for walking are pretty accurate so just plug in 120 minutes and estimate how fast you were going and it will tell you how many you burned! Great walk!!!
-
I agree - who has the time for MORE bathroom breaks....however I do love my Diet Coke and will never be able to give it up completely. I do have the odd one but not nearly as many as before. I find it satisfies a craving and makes me feel fuller than just regular water.

Nike+GPS app has some good tools....as well as the Nike Running website (you create a profile, set goals, it keeps track of your runs (from the phone app - it syncs it), etc.
-
Yay you! I made it there today as well! Good feeling to be JUST "overweight" isn't it!!
-
I found rollerblading (in-line) skating and ice skating by just typing in "skate" in to cardio....

West Coast - just outside Vancouver!! Good luck, eh!
