I hated my scale until i bought a new one. I ended up hating that one even more so i returned it. I feel like the only scale that will give you same weight even if you step on and off 10 times , is the balance beam scale. But they are expensive to buy new.

Somehow i never had an issue with weightloss due to not logging 100%. Id say im about 85% and i lose every week. I never weigh a peace of toast if label say 100 calories. This chart tells me im at a good weight for my age/sex and that might be true. But it also tells me losing another 15 pounds wont benefit me anything.....hmmm...i dont know about that one.

Many of my coworkers have noticed and ask me how I did it. I tell them and they look at me like..." that's too much work"...lol Myself, I noticing all my clothes fitting lose. I am swimming in my scrubs. It really got noticeable to others after 20 pounds.

If I only go over by a couple of hundred I am ok with that. I am still in a deficit. But if I go over by a lot A LOT, I customize my calorie goal for the rest of the week. I agree. I catch myself getting mad because things are not going as fast as it did in the beginning. But then I realize that time is not important,progress is. I love to eat and drink and just knowing I can do this and still lose weight, that is amazing to me.

2 pounds per month is good. Once we get down to where we are less than 30 pounds from ideal weight ( whatever that is ) it slows down no matter what. I guess we could lose 2 pounds per week if we really deprived ourself....or ran a marathon a day.lol You weigh 161 now, from 254. That is amazing. And you are still losing!

You said it yourself. Factors manufactured in your head, inability to track calories, actual diseases, medical conditions will all mess with peoples abilities to lose weight. I think a lot of people looking at weightloss as simple as black and white.,its not. Yes CICO is the path to weightloss always. But its other factors involved as well. If it weren't, nobody would have issues losing weight..
