My husband will actually start taking Zepbound in the next couple of days. My husband is Obese. He weighs 354 pounds and is 5'9" tall. In the last three months he has on his own lost 35 pounds by eating around 15 to 2100 calories a day and getting on our very nice Matrix elliptical machine a few times a week. I am very…

I Love wine but it's not doing me any favors. The reason is I eat so much more on days that I drink. A night of drinking and eating I easily destroy a weeks' worth of calorie deficit. But that is because I can't control myself when I drink. So drinking for me has to be a rare occasion.

That's an idea! Thank you.

Thank you guys. I agree sleepnis more important. And I am logging my calories. I work as a radiology tech in a hospital but at night its not that busy so I sit alot. However ,I could walk the corridors and do some pushups. And on my stretch of days off I do more cardio I just feel bad because I miss it when I go to long .…

I love wine but my problem is that once I drink I snack. It's not helping me any. I don't want to give up drinking all together but I want to be one of those people that only drink once in a great while. Special occasions only and that would be it. I don't know if I can do that. Not now anyways. I just have to give it up…

I think slim/ slender legs are hot. I want that.

I've tried it but it wasnt for me. Too much focus on food all the time.

For me to lose 1 pound a week I have to eat less than 1000 calories a day. Ridiculous. For 1/2 pounds I get slightly over 1250 or so.

I found that being in a hurry and overwhelmed is my biggest enemy. I don't know why I have to lose weight so fast. 1 pound a week is alot for me. It gives me no more than 1300 calories a day to eat. Talk about discouraging. I have to exercise for a couple of hours to at least bump that total up to 1500 calories. So I think…

My husband weighs al ittle more than you and we are yet again back with mfp trying to lose weight. He eats 2200 calories a day and that's for a 2 pound a week weightloss. I think 1500 sound really low for you.

Hi, Im on my 3rd day of 16:8. I work the night shift so my eating window is from 10pm to 6am. The I go home and sleep. But every other week im off work for 7 days. During those days I have to adjust my eating hours so I can hang out with my family.

Thanks guys. I used to be active here and Now im back. I know about the CICO and that is why when I was told calorie intake don't matter it made no sense.

Yeah..I know. No more.

Why not have the skin surgically removed? Is it very expensive? As hard as you and many others have worked to lose all that weight, dont you think you deserve to look amazing and have that skin removed?
-
Yeah, I do that as well. It's worth every drop of sweat!

I want too lose another 15. Then I will be at a bmi of 22.5 But at 1 pound a week it only gives me 1400 calories base. I love to eat and drink so that's hard. I don't know how people do it at 1200..lol. I changed my goal just today to 0.5 pounds per week and now I can eat 1660. A little better I think.

Is that you on the swimsuit picture?? If so, I would love to look like that..lol But 120 is hard to maintain at your height.
-
I just go with mfp. Set my activity level to light active, and let my garmin watch sync my actual activity. That works for me.
-
Wow....what a story! Is your dog better now?
-
Yes!

The only way for me to not gain weight back and lose track, is to weigh myself every day. That will keep me in check.
-
Hmm....some of you are thinking too hard about this. Just eat what you want and what makes you feel energized and full. If you feel great eating pizza and waffles all day long....go for it. If you lose weight and look good, then whats the harm. lol

OK,I'm bumping this thread. I'm now 20 pounds away. I weighed in at 155 and my goal in 137. That will put my BMI at 22.5. I don't know if I'm going to make it because I have always failed when I got to the last 20 to 25 pounds. It takes so much patience that we constantly need reminders we are moving in the right…

I live in Chicago so yeah...I have ridden on a flat terrain with head wind..lol.. I ride from my house towards down town, along Lake Shore Drive. But it's great to know. I really didn't know. Now, If I actually peddling non stop, riding fast, my heart rate actually goes up. That might be a different story. But that takes…

I eat dinner at 11 pm sometimes. When my husband comes home. I eat a late BF, a small lunch, a small snack/s. Then I might go to gym late and we eat dinner together at 11 pm. So, in your case, eat your dinner early, and a snack later before bed.
-
I would never have guessed that you burn more biking. It seems like half the time all you are doing is just coasting, not pedaling vs a brisk walk you actually get your heart rate going. interseting

Same here. Unless the difference is really really obvious.

I weigh daily, just because. I weigh every Monday and log that weight with MFP. Last Monday I weighed 157.4 I logged it. The day after it dropped to 156. The next day 155.8. Then I had a snack and wine night and the next day I was 159. The following day I was 158 again. Then 157.5. Today , Monday, I'm suppose to weigh in…
