If 15 lbs is all you need to lose, you should aim for a rate of 0.5-1 lb per week. If you fill out your profile here accurately, mfp will give you a calorie goal1

I want too lose another 15. Then I will be at a bmi of 22.5
But at 1 pound a week it only gives me 1400 calories base. I love to eat and drink so that's hard. I don't know how people do it at 1200..lol.
I changed my goal just today to 0.5 pounds per week and now I can eat 1660. A little better I think.1 -

Adding in exercise can make a big difference - an hour of exercise daily can be several hundred extra calories, which takes a 1200 calorie base from awful to quite reasonable at about 1600.1 -

My goal was 1350. I increased my activity and logged my exercise to get it up over 15001 -
