  • I've made zucchini noodles for spaghetti and last night's dinner. I don't have access to it at the moment but it was from Pinterest and it was Cilantro Lime Chicken - very good! It had a small amount of jalapeno peppers, lime juice, cumin, and cilantro mixed with cooked chicken and zucchini noodles.
  • I cook dinner every night. I plan out our meals and grocery list on Friday and go shopping Saturday or Sunday. I find a lot of my recipes on Pinterest so I made a board called On the Menu. I pin things to my regular Recipes board and then as I plan and add a meal to the week, I also pin it to On the Menu. That way it's…
  • We love the Ronzoni brand of GF pasta so that opens up a lot of possibilities. There is a GF cream of mushroom soup but it's a bit thinner than regular and quite a bit more expensive. DH thinks the Aldi's GF bread is the best out there and we like the Udi's pizza crust and muffins. Besides the usual protein and veggie…
  • I read this as a 1/4 c of chicken broth and a 10 oz can of diced tomatoes. I think the decimals have something to do with calculating the nutrition but I could be wrong.
  • I like the baked apple recipe from Pinterest. I don't have it on me but something about apple slices warmed in the microwave with a tiny bit of cinnamon & sugar sprinkled on. A bit of whipped cream is good on it too.
  • If I don't have any leftovers from dinner, my go to lunch is an english muffin sandwich made with Laughing Cow lite spreadable cheese and 2 oz of lunchmeat, some carrots, and another small side - yogurt, string cheese, an apple, etc. I also keep cans of Progressive soup on hand for a really easy grab and go. If I have time…
  • Hi All! I'm Jennie from the Twin Cities of MN. I'm 36, married for 2 years with 2 teenagers of my own and 3 adult stepkids. I'm looking for a friend to hold me accountable for tracking my food. I know that I do really well at my weight loss goals when I consistently track everything.
  • I already did the treat table at work. I'm very proud of myself! I took a couple things but didn't really enjoy them. I'll have to remind myself of that for the rest of the day so I don't go back. Normally I find myself eating things that I don't even think taste all that great just for the sake of eating it. I can DO it!…
  • Thank you so much for posting this. I recently put a name to this habit I've had all my life - binge eating so I'm looking forward to learning how I can deal with it.
  • Welcome! I have a January birthday too! :)
  • I've done the mini muffins omelets before too but I don't add breadcrumbs - my hubby is gluten free so I try not to bring too many things into the house that he can't eat. My best breakfasts are fruit and yogurt, yogurt with some Cheerios mixed in, oatmeal, cottage cheese with fruit, or almonds. Breakfast doesn't have to…
  • I weigh in on Saturdays but I have my first "holiday hurdle" (I love that BTW!) tomorrow too. Every month they do a huge potluck at work to celebrate the birthdays and anniversaries that month and they paired it up with Halloween this month. My goal is to be SUPER picky about what I eat from the table and only take what…
  • I obviously figured out how to do the ticker! :)
  • I actually enjoyed this Monday...the hubs was home with a terrible stomach virus all weekend so I'm thankful to be breathing clean air! As far as the weekend, eh. I didn't log any food; I really need to get back to that. I'm a terrible eater on the weekends. I don't normally eat breakfast anyway and the on the weekend I…
  • I need to get going on work outs. I did my first 5k in 2012 and I did really, really well when I was in "training". I made it to the gym 3+ times a week. Now it's really hard for me to stay consistent - I'll do great for one week and then bomb the next. For some reason, I had it in my head that I had to go to the gym to…
  • I'm in! I've been wishing I had a challenge to keep me on track! This is my first challenge on here...what do I need to know? I'm planning on tracking BLT (which I've been very horrible at). I need consistency.
