I've been using mine since march 2013 - and I love it! The support from the company is also great. Don't use their food database as MFP's is much better.

1. Do it for yourself. 2. it's easier if the whole family participates in creating new habits (eating well and excercising). 3. Try not obsessing. 4. Don't get discouraged. 5. Walk 10 000 steps everyday - this = 8km or 5 miles.

I love my UP bracelet - it's not the new one - the only difference is I have to plug mine in my phone to transfer information. It more of a pedometer than anything else. I love that it tracks my sleep as well - although it's not 100% accurate.

I'm in Canada - I wear a balaclava, sometimes a tuque on top, longjohns, a pair of winter running pants, an undershirt (wicking material) a tech shirt, a windbreaker (some people call it a shell), my mitts or gloves (I prefer mitts) and that's it. I've gone out in -30C. - the balaclava is a must at that temperature. I'm a…

People have always commented on how I eat - my whole life =) I'm probably the pickiest eater you've met with the most peculiar habits - i.e. my food doesn't touch each other in my plate...and the list goes on =) The comments I sometimes get is you must be starving yourself - you are disappearing - I hope you are done…

I'm also new to winter running - I got myself some winter running pants (didn't like the tights - they just fit funny), some long underwear - the wicking material type (walmart has them at a good price), a shell (windbreaker type jacket). I wear 2 shirts, my shell, my longjohns and my shell - hat and mitts of course and…

Well, I ran outside yesterday at -21C. Not sure what that converts to.

At first, I didn't have treats too often. After a while, I ate treats from time to time. Now, I eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted - as long as burn more calories than I eat.

I'm trying to get your pics to show - IMG needs to be in small letters. Great work!

I'm now on week three of the basic program. Just finished day 2 of 4. It's a challenge which is great - I'm getting and feeling stronger already. I did take pics of my arms before and week 2- and I see more definition for sure. I should've taken pics of my back... oh well, too late now =). I hope I can stick with the…
