People fast like this for religious reasons all the time. Make sure you check with your doctor before you decide to something like this though. All the important vitamins and minerals you consume will have to be supplemented for any duration of a water fast. ...and potassium is generally not included in a muli-vitamin so…

I have a pretty huge Garbage Pail Kid on my upper arm, and I've lost only a few pounds. That's a big fear, that my GPK will turn into a saggy old lady with bandages and barbed wire LOL

Eat lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean meats. You will absolutely have to increase your caloric intake, every trimester gets harder on your body and you have to take in more. Def talk with your doctor. Jogging is generally pretty safe, and walk walk walk, not just for the weight issue but it is a HUGE benefit…

You will DEFINITELY fit! I'm a size US 28 right now and my seat belt latched on the jet planes...but not the propellor planes! :blushing: ....Talk about embarassing! I didn't say anything though! Probably not the most safe idea, but hey I'm still breathing. That's been a good motivator for me though!

^^^ This! If your lifestyle isn't something you can LIVE everyday, then you aren't going to lose the weight and keep it off. If you resist every craving, every singe day of your life, you are more likely to "fall off the wagon" and end up binging.

 So glad you found your hope in the Lord! Was wondering if you could let me in on some of your daily meals and snacks? Especially right at the start of your journey. That's where I am with lots of weight to lose.

Congratulations on the changes you have made! That is awesome and very inspiring. I have a lot of weight to lose myself, and this makes it seem completely possible.

That's what I was going to say. Literally every BODY is different. Some eating habits work for some, not for others. Some medicines work for some, not for others. Some types of exercise work for some, not for others. It's unfair to generalize the effects of medication in relation to others, just because it doesn't have (or…

That's amazing! Please tell me about your diet and exercise habits! I'm starting out around 340 so I have ALOT to lose, but seeing women like you make me know that I can do it too!

I am also a working mom of a toddler, our daughter is 12 months old. I work from 8-5 Monday to Friday, and I have a total of an hour commute. I generally leave around 7:20 or 7:30 and then I don't get home until around 6 or 6:15. Then I try to cook, clean, spend some time with our little lady, get in what exercise I can,…

Just curious...how did you lose that amount in that period of time?

This is amazing!! Congratulations! Your hard work is definitely paying off!

Thank you all!! The encouragement really does help so so so much! I'm going to google that 5 pounds of fat as suggested! I have been eating pretty healthy. I had a lot of bad habits that I'm breaking, and so far I'm pretty proud of how many of those habits I've changed. I actually WANT to exercise and walk now :noway:

Bump for new ideas!!

I am insulin resistant, as a matter of fact that was what was keeping me from getting pregnant! I started counting my calories and excercising 2-3 times a week and I know I've lost some weight. I don't know how much yet, I have been weighing on my Dr.'s office scales. I go Wednesday and will know for sure how much then. I…

Thinking all the way back to my teen years, I have always been up at least once to pee during the night. So that is very normal for me lol.

I really started making changes in my eating and excercise habits a little over 2 weeks ago, and yes I feel better than I have in a very long time :D
