Didn't read all responses but that cyst could be a keloid and if so it will never go away. My husband had this and had to just remove the piercing and forsake it forever. That was 6 years ago and the cyst is much small but still there.

This is an interesting article. It talks about several different effects caffeine has on the body, and one of them is increased insulin resistance. This would make those effects (body fat percentage, belly fat increase, etc) make total sense. It also supports the "it messes with you hormones" statement, as insulin is a…

-While washing dishes there is always a specific order. Sippy cups first (I have a 2 year old), wash the cup, then the lid, then the spill proof plug. Next either all the bowls or all the plates, but no plate/bowl combination. Next the cups/drinking glasses. Then the silverware, and lastly the pots and pans. -Sometimes I…

Are you hiking the whole trail? Will you be passing through the New River Valley area in Virginia? We live relatively close to the NRV and the trail! We love to see the hikers

All food logging should be done on MFP. If you are doing exercises not "read" by your FitBit (strength training for example) then you can log it on your FitBit and it should sync to MFP.

Aside from the language ( yeah I'm one of those "prudes") I think it's great. It leads in to the typical "this is what small people think of big people" but does a complete 180. The fact that they acknowledge and understand the person's struggle is wonderful.

My parents were the "do whatever you want as long as you are in our house...that way we know you are safe". So, I got by with murder and I know what teenagers will do. Hence, my now 2 year old may have random room inspections, doors removed, privileges revoked at any time. As long as my husband and I are paying the bills,…

I have a Flex and I think it's great. I haven't had any issues with the band breaking, and the clasp has only came loose once (I think I didn't have it closed all the way). I don't think I could do the One, I'm sure it would end up in the wash and I can't afford to replace a device such as this. I wash dishes and bathe my…

Awesome victory!! Congratulations!!!

Sorry, but that couldn't be more incorrect. There are people that are just starting out (and even some that have lost major weight) that ONLY walk for exercise.

Hello! I'm 25 with an almost 2 year old. I have well over 100 to lose. Anyone, feel free to add me :flowerforyou:

So many threads about this topic...my question remains where in the world did all her excess skin go?

Congratulations! You have so much to be proud about in your life! Overcoming addictions and emotions, and becoming dedicated to building yourself up instead of destructive behaviors! Please report back with wedding photos

I believe its all about establishing a healthy relationship with food. Food is not the enemy. You have to make good, mindful choices everyday but you also have to allow yourself to live life. If you go over, move on. One bad day isn't going to ruin all your progress. I personally try to incorporate something I really like,…

Motivation is great and all, but that's not all there is. Sometimes you just have to push through and do what you have to do if you want to see the changes. You are already doing amazing, why stop now? Don't let one little thing like motivation throw you off. If you find yourself slipping or wondering why or if it's worth…

If I were fancy I would post happy GIF's to make you smile. But I no fancy, I no know how to GIF. But, here's a flower :flowerforyou:

I have honestly been surprised at how hard the emotional struggle has been. There have been days I wanted to burst into tears while putting on clothes. All my bigger sizes are way too big and my smaller sizes are just starting to fit, still have some that don't fit like I would like. I've also had issues with how clothes…

ANYONE???

I was actually able to come off the Metformin myself, and I have been able to lose about 38 pounds (at last weigh in) eating about every 2 to 3 hours. That time table varies of course, especially on the weekends when things aren't quite so structured. I have read some things saying it may not be the best idea for women.…

My husband and I will be starting this tomorrow! Add me if you'd like

Hey there OP! I would be interested in some of your recipes and grocery lists. We have cut processed food WAY back at our house, but I'm always looking for new whole food recipes :flowerforyou:

You can say "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength" and when someone doubts all they have to do is look at the pictures!

I will probably get witched like I'm the red headed step child, but I'm a little confused. There are some very mean and ugly comments that have been made to some of the people posting on here. However, some posts just seem to be family members letting you know the truth. Then there was the one post where the chick's sister…

OP if he doesn't start to follow now on his own, he may be "forced" to in the long run due to the detrimental effect on his health. My husband wasn't completely on board with my whole lifestyle changes, but just got health related news last week that left him no choices but to make MAJOR changes. Keep your head up, follow…

I think it depends on what you're wearing, 5 pounds is not extreme if you are wearing heavy shoes and a thick sweater/hoodie/or coat. I always take off any outer vestment and take off my shoes. I also make sure my phone, keys, anything at all pretty much, is out of my pockets. It's not an options to weigh naked at your…
