  • A few years ago, I used to walk 4 miles (in an hour) 4 days a week. I gained 20 pounds, but my body fat went from 29% to 16%. I went from a size 8 to a 0. A pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. Pay attention to your body fat and measurements more than the weight number on the scales.

  • I mix 4 oz unsweetened cranberry juice with 1 scoop chocolate whey protein in a blender. I add frozen strawberries til it's thick (don't add them one at a time or they will clump together) and add some splenda to taste. Makes a great smoothie! You can throw in some frozen blueberries too.

  • My thought was the same as mibrewer413....are you getting enough fluids and are you eatting enough? I will actually have seizures if I become dehydrated. Make sure you get enough nutrients not just food. Keep your potassium levels up.
