Thanks, Jason. Looking forward to the challenge. Time to read up on my requirements....

Haha yeah, basically... Still quite a few bugs I dislike about the program. Once I was in the workout section and I wanted it go back and do a standard ride, it wouldn't let me. I had to exit the program and restart. Is there a way to access the menu prior to starting a ride, pedaling, then stopping for the pause menu to…

Does this require changing the UoM back to metric on Strava? Cuz TBH, I don't wanna do that. As petty as it may seem, I have other challenges going on where I am tracking miles and for me that at a minimum, takes 2 and sometimes 3 rides a day, it's a bit of a pain to convert the measurement for logging. EDIT: Nevermind. I…

Per email, it looks like they are extending Beta another week.

Yeah I dont get how you can cycle and text by phone or type on a laptop at all. I'm moving way too much to type.

Quit telling me to 'close the gap' if all I am going to do is run in to then bumble around and pass him! And why can't you just ride straight through the ghost riders, or vice-versa, instead of them being like a real-time zwifter where you can't occupy the same space? Just a few things that annoy me right now. Rode today…

I connected my cell to the wifi modem that my desktop is hardwired to and still no bueno which means I must need to get a wireless adapter for my PC so they are on the same wifi connection which is a bit annoying.
-
Good info, Joe! My cell is obviously on wifi, but I use my desktop PC hardwired by ethernet. I'll work on getting them on the same connection.

Playground pit stop with my daughter.

I think this nailed it. I am a big guy (235 lbs) so I crank the tensioner down about another have half turn because when I was about 70 lbs heavier, when I would stand to sprint pedal, the tire would slip. I dialed it back a small amount tonight and it did not slip any and I had a much better average (although I did put…

A few questions for the regular users (Jake & Noel?)... I am using a KK trainer with HRM & Speed Sensors, it seems quite often like I am going very slow and people are blowing by me when IRL I am really hammering hard, on my next to highest gear. Did either of you experience this? Also, when I use the app, I only see the…

LOL I swear... I just now found out about boosts/power ups. Umm what?!?! This seemed full of good info. I was reading last night... http://www.titaniumgeek.com/cycling/zwift-user-manual-unofficial-running-updates/

Check CL and local buy/sell bike groups on facebook. When I crashed my Diamondback MTB and needed something immediate, through the fb group, I found a great buy for $150 from a guy in the neighborhood right beside mine. Walked there, pedaled home. It's steel and heavy but very low maintenance and durable as hell. Plus it…

Torrential rain the past 2 and the next 2 days.... Had my first serious indoor trainer ride in the last 4+ months this evening and I could tell a noticeable gain in both strength and endurance. I cycled several gears higher at all times and 60 minutes was nothing to do. I had to really push to break a sweat and almost ran…

First entries of the month were 2 nasty wet & windy commutes by heavy steel MTB. Hurricane Joaquin is on it's way up the coast so the next 3 days might have me on the trainer... 10/01 - 07.15 @ 16.7 mph (AM Commute-MTB) 10/01 - 07.70 @ 16.1 mph (PM Commute-MTB) MTD: 14.85 Goal: 750

I should also be good for at least 750 miles this month by work commutes, Club rides and some after work evening rides. DST happens on Nov.1, after that it's lights out by 5pm! :(

I use a trainer on rainy days and through the coldest months of winter. If cycling is your primary source of exercise, get one. A GOOD one. I have a KK (Kurt Kinetic) Road Machine and it has been providing amazing support during these times. Do like me... I set mine up right in front of the TV, turn on an engaging show…
