  • I'm down right starving on nights so I cut my sandwich in half and bring a wide variety of fruits, veggies and complex carbs to eat every few hours. I've been doing midnight to midnight and it sounds like the majority run that route too

  • I haven't seen the show but people with a lot of weight to lose will lose it a lot faster than a person who have very little. Most the people on these shows have a couple hundred that can be dropped. Not to mention the meals that are planned for them are better portioned and all together more healthy than the contestants…
  • Instead of having 3 big meals a day break them down into smaller meals. I've heard anywhere from 7-12 small meals a day. This way is probably better because between meals your body will go into starvation mode after a few hours and the break between lunch and dinner is a long one.   • If you don't have enough calories throughout the day, your body can go into "starvation mode" to protect itself, so your metabolism decreases and instead of burning calories your body tries to hold onto them.
  • I've made it a rule of thumb not to eat after 9pm at the latest, but if your having those cravings get ride of the chips, cookies, and whatever junk food you have in the house. Stock your fridge with celery, apples, almonds, or other healthy snacks.
