  • Just started this eating plan August 1. The one side affect I love is how much energy I have on the fast day and becoming aware of how sluggish some of my eating makes me on feast day. Down 10 pounds.
  • I choose things that I would not normally do for myself like a pedicure, or a fun piece of costume jewelry, massage something like that. I do it for every 10 pounds I lose. Good luck!

  • I have the same problems, portion sizes, with nuts. For me they are a trigger much like carbs, so crunchy and good. I switched to pistachios in the shell so now I am more conscious about the fact that I am eating something instead of just pop, popping them into my mouth. You could do the same with peanuts or walnuts, etc.

  • I did it because I knew I needed a "jump start" after several "false starts" and a plan to really commit and get in good habits again.   • Thanks for starting this thread. One I like is 1 cup of aspragus, 1 cup mushrooms, 1/2 cup black beans and 6 oz shrimp, stir fried together with my favorite seasoning salt, Sneaky Salts. This is 318 but could reduce the shrimp a bit to get to 300.
