I'm Back! I just started taking the adipex again..... I just can't do it on my own.
-
I find this interesting...I started having some of the side effects come back the winter after I finished chemo. My doctor and his nurse said they'd never heard of that happening - ( coming back after they'd gone away).
-
Thank you!

Sadly- my cancer has come back. PET showed another spot in my liver. Here we go again, eh?

I'm 46. I finished chemo in February for stage 4 colon/liver cancer ( surgery to resect both the colon and liver Aug 2012). Cancer.org states the 5 year survival rate is 6%. I have a husband and two sons ( the youngest being 13) I'm losing weight and getting healthy because I don't want to be a statistic.

So true!

Lots of salad..... I don't usually get enough protein so I eat a protein bar every day.... ( Come Ready Performance Caramel )- Yes, I know they should be just for when you work out but I want " sweets"- they taste like a candy bar, have 195 cal and lots of protein. I find they fill me up- which is HARD TO DO!
-
I have to opposite issue...I've lost all my weight in my hips, thighs..heck, even my ankles! I look like a weeble on toothpicks!
-
And for me..... prayer while I walk.
-
I agree- Walking helps a great deal!
-
Thanks M! And congrats on your clean PET!!!!
-
Hugs to you!

I wouldn't worry about it- a few days isn't going to make that big of difference.. Just be careful not to get too hungry. That's what I find happens to me if I go too many days without eating enough.
-
16 lbs down....you're on your way! Ps... The few people I've know who's had weight loss surgery have ALL gained the weight back- and have felt like crap while doing it!
-
WAY TO GO!:smooched:

Hi- I'm not on as much as I should- I do find when I read post, messages, etc., I do better keeping my eating more under control.
-
People say a lot of stuff- don't listen to the negative! Even if you did gain it back, wouldn't it be better to have some of the weight off for a while? ---- But I think you'll be able to lose and keep it off!!!

My 4 year old King Charles Caviler does this ...wakes several times a night but only if it's just me in the bed. When my husband is home, she sleeps through the night. Brat!
-
Eventually- but for now ( and probably not until next year), I can't- even w/ PT. I have a port - doctor says no weight exercises at all.
-
Curious- what's a stone?
-
Don't knock yourself- 30 lbs is awesome! Congrats on the great success!!!
