Nice! Love that myth

Thanks, I'll check it out!

Happy birthday!

I struggle with this too. One thing that has helped me is to be the first one to say "hi". So... If I see someone I know in the hallway, or my roommate in the kitchen (I'm married now, but you know what I mean), I look at them in the eye and with a smile say "hi Sally" or "good morning". This was a huge step for me, but it…

This is the saddest, but most beautiful thing.

Milk is healthy for you, but it really depends on your cal goals. If they are low you may need to stick with water or almond milk to not go over, but if you have room, do what ever tastes best. All options are healthy.

Skim milk... I couldn't handle water. If I have a bunch of cal left over I will even do homogenous milk (tastes like a milkshake!)

Bump for anyone else interested

Well, Halloween is just under 23weeks away meaning to get to 40lbs we'll have to lose just under 2lbs/week. This is pretty much been how things have been progressing for me the last 4 weeks. My schedule is as follows; Mon: C25K (30min) Tue: NRoL4W (30min + 15 warmup/cooldown) Wed: C25K Thur: NRoL4W Fri: C25K Sat: NRoL4W…

Hello, My name is Shauna, I'm 28 and 5'10. I currently weigh 195lbs which would put me at my goal weight of 155lbs. I'm going to be honest, I'm probably not going to be wearing a sexy costume, but I'd love to look great for the Halloween parties when I see friends who I haven't seen all year. What a great motivator!

lets do this!

Hi Sergio, Just a question, where are you getting your info on IF, LeanGains.com? I've been thinking about it to see if it would speed up my results. Looking forward to an update. Thanks

Good for you! And lesson learned ????
-
Go with your 'gut' ????
-
Haha, thank you. I was feeling like I might be the only physics nerd here. Who doesn't want to apply Newton's first law of thermodynamics to their weight loss strategy! ????

It's unfortunate that you didn't watch the video (which is pretty fun!) because what it is asking is what HAPPENS to that missing mass? And I'm not talking about after you go to the bathroom. I'm talking about the roughly 100-200g that seems to mysterious disappear. Where did that mass GO? Conservation of energy describes…

^^ Bingo Follow the money

I more put this up for people who might be interested in the science
-
I'm just saying, conservation of energy, it is not possible for you to weigh more in the morning than you did the night before.
-
I'm saving up to buy my first bike. In the meantime I'll be taking driving lessons.
-
If you don't weigh less in the morning than you did before you went to bed then you might be sleep eating.
-
Btw, my favourite reply was that our bodies convert mass into energy. The only way that would be possible is if our bodies had little nuclear reactors in them! (we don't ????). Think about it!

Nice, great job!

Great job on your weight loss first of all. I don't think there is much you can do in terms of loose skin. Many people tighten up over time (think of pregnancy bellies), but some people have a harder time. It's mostly genetics, age, etc... I think. All I can say is what I would do if I was in your position (I haven't lost…

Really?!

stereotype... busted

^^ nice! There is some speculation that the mechanisms involved are related to insulin regulation. But, unfortunately this study only shows correlation and not causation (sorry Cenk, but it is what it is).

^ Yup, eat calorie dense foods. You have the right idea with nuts, add peanut butter, cheese, whole milk, whole eggs, BACON... oops, did I yell that last one... it's just that I love BACON
